As you can see, this is a can of silly string in its natural habitat. And right at this moment, it is being attacked by its natural enemy, the drill. It may seem helpless, but it has a trick up it’s sleeve. It uses one of its defense mechanisms and squirts the drill with its sticky and toxic juices, that coagulates and hardens as it is exposed to air. The drill then flees, but not without leaving a deadly wound on the silly string can.

Measuring the muzzle velocity
Take a car
Go at the same speed as the muzzle velocity
Spray it in the opposite direction as the car
Film it.

Riky Rossi it would just drop down, and not shoot forward, but since the car(and so does the can) moves forward, it makes a line

if you dried it it wouls be hard and crack into pieces because it's not actually string in the can it's a liquid and when sprayed it solidifies into a string so it wouldn't work

You should try experiments with shaving cream like in liquid nitrogen
For the 8:1 device you could try melting the tube and then attaching it to the individual caps so that it bonded to them and that could make a better seal

Ok, a suggestion on how to improve the stream-crosser. Take eight of the caps off of the spray cans, and drill a hole in the front of them with enough space for a tube. Stick a tube in each of the spray caps, sealing and securing it with hot glue, or perhaps superglue. Something like that. Reattatch the modified caps to the tops of some silly string cans, and enjoy!
