- We have been selling golf clubs at the flea market for a few months now and every once in a while a customer will have something to sell. We’ll this time it was an insanely nice Scotty Cameron custom shop putter and that wasn’t even the coolest thing he had! If this was actually Tiger Woods’ putter it would be priceless!!

Hi Folks. I'm in Australia and can't get enough of your videos. Clubs are so much dearer here but I have gone to a few car boot sales since watching you and found a Ping i5 6 iron and the second time I played I got my first hole in one! I credit you two with that as I have played with the same old clubs for years x
Aussie here too, can't believe the prices of their secondhand market compared to ours. Only thing that came close was my entire set I bought secondhand for a steal, and also a set of burner lcg irons in a dump shop for $30. I've put it down to there just being more golf clubs and golfers over there.

Cool putters, I have a modest Scotty collection and I try to learn all things Scotty Cameron. Like someone already said in the comments the pro platinum was made to look like "Tigers Putter" Nor Cal Putters is a Club restorer who does great work and he also will recreate Tigers Putter on some Scotty Putters. Tigers "gamer" putters and backups are very well documented and when any of them associated with him come to market they are some of the most valuable collectibles in all of sport.
Not buying TW's backup putter story, Never seen Tiger use a putter with alignment line. He always went with dot on top of putter.

I’m an avid golfer and a fan of y’all’s podcast I really enjoy watching you two. Keep up the great work. I have 1st cousin’s in Orlando Florida that we go and stay with every summer and play golf. I'll comment on the "Tiger Woods" putter and keep it real in the polite world of comments here.
I'm obsessed with Tiger's putter and know a few things about the evolution of the one he uses today.
Firstly, tiger is good friends with Mark O'meara and they became friends early in Tiger's career.
Mark used a pro platimum newport 2 and Tiger, a long time Ping Anser 2 user took a liking to it. He even used Mark's backup in a tournament.
Now, the putter here is a pro platinum newport 2. Tiger's current putter we all know is a 303 gss newport 2 with a cherry bomb on the face heel, and a cherry bomb on the back cavity. It also has a sleeker and slightly more square profile. Now we all may or may not know the story of how the cherry bombs came to be, but it was a situation where Scotty needed to shave a swing weight point at the last minute and then filled the milled dots with red machinist dye called dykem. The putter in this vid is paint filled with red paint and the finish actually looks wrong or a little off from the true color of a pro platinum finish. Since the pro platinum newport 2 is pre 303 stainless and pre 303 gss (Tiger's gamer) the dot here is just milled in to copy the look since regular folks can't get that putter. So, I'm calling bull (blank) on the putter and the guy that paid 200 for it was given a fair deal for a good performing putter that looks cool but has nothing to do with Tiger Woods. Also Jon you are so nice to indulge him. I know you know this too though.
Tigers actual "gamer" would probably be the most valuable piece of sports memorabilia in the history of sport. I recently scored big on a tour 96 Coranado SS from Offer up. Guy didn't know what he had I bought it with a entire set of clubs.

Not too sure it genuine. You can get that exact putter on DH gate for 100-200 bucks.

I have an extra set of LCG Burners if that guy wants them. I have steel shafted ones I had fitted for me in the late 90s and about 10 years ago found some bubble shaft ones that a neighbor was throwing out. I prefer the steel shafts so if he wants the graphite bubble shaft ones I have them. I still use the steel ones. Message me!
Love the content! The earth power guy was the best. We used to work some of the larger farmer markets in Central Florida and those people used to come around all the time. Selling snake oil, marketing tools, sale tools, etc... I also always loved the people that try to talk you down to nothing and then pull out a $100 bill to pay for a $5 item.... as always great video! That "tiger" putter...nice facsimile but that cherry dot was all wrong. I could kind of see the middle point from a bit..not a true milled cherry dot. Fun putter but in that condition probably worth less than a stock Pro Platinum in original condition. Keep up the great videos!

I love the Tiger putter the guy has. But most likely it’s a tribute putter. Nor cal putters make tribute Tiger putters. So it’s probably one of those cause Tigers backups are all documented. But it’s still pretty cool.

I gamed (still have it) a Nakashima driver for years. It was affectionally nicknamed The "Knockadashita" by my playing partners, as it was long and straight.

I bought the 2017 TM M2 Driver 2 years ago brand new for $149 and I probably only used it for a dozen games. I’m thinking about selling it and getting the Sim Max 2. It’s almost an even trade here in Canada.
I must know 5-6 people still playing the 07-08 burner irons and even more playing the fairway woods. I played one for 10+ years before it broke.
2017 M2 driver is so good I don’t care what any reviews said but it’s such a good driver that I sold!

g'day from down here in australia, i found a while back a spalding tpm 12, how ever the only ones i find online have TPM printed in the cavity , mine dose not, any ideas ?
My mother has the same REX pots and they are same color you had bought and bright with the lids, any way you should look at the putter shaft for a number and single letter ?? if I rember look closely next time ,BUT BE COOL LOOKING AT IT < Ashley took the show with the REX pots , go Ash !!
Fairly confident the scotty guy is full of it. The custom shop grip was fake. The cameron he let you hold was hand stamped by someone after the factory. The custom shop didn’t “deny” him a refinish lol. I’m fairly confident you knew this, too but you were really nice about it.
