I remember a ton people saying Brian was the weakest VA when the trailer dropped so it's super funny seeing him get so much praise now that the full film is out. Man absolutely deserves it.

I didnt see many of the trailers before watching and this scene caught me by surprise with the Starscream reveal, he had a surprising amount of screen presence whenever the camera was on him and it was genuinely really hype when he descends the throne and starts squaring off with Megatron, it felt like two big name boxers had just stepped into the ring, which is something rarely seen with Starscream. I was just very impressed they made him seem like an authentic portrayal while making him seem like a leader they would have followed before Megatron
I love the facial expressions of the main characters. Writing, Animation, voice acting, everything was just hitting on all cylinders in this movie. It’s beautiful.
Having seen Inside Out 2 and Wild Robot / Transformers One thru advance screenings, I think Transformers One has a good shot at winning the Oscars. The 3 titles are pretty much a coming of age film. But a shakespearean tragedy in this lore is just something else. A rare gem. Transformers might have struck a lightning in a bottle with this one and could win it all.
Specially after all the shit revealed by IGN about Pixar's crunch. If last year many people celebrated ATSV didn't win due to the animators' crunch, I hope people don't stay silent about Inside Out 2.

I love this movie. This movie threw me a LOT of curves and I am very versed in the lore. I knew that Sentinel was a dirt bag but I didn't know how VICIOUS and GREEDY he was. A shame that this film is severely underperforming because it was so good. Probably better than the entire Bayverse films, and second only Bumblee. I highly enjoyed it and wanna see more.
The pacing of the movie was a bit fast for everything that happened in an 105 minute-ish movie, but it was still good. If they had given the movie a few more minutes to spacie things out and let it flow a little more naturally, it would be an absolute winner. Because i felt so much happened so fast, and the movie doesn't give a lot of time to 'breathe' if you will.

Using Megatron's cannon as something that visually represents his shift into a more violent character is so simple and brilliant.
Really do love when they recontextualize stuff like that to serve the narrative
and if you see when elita and b-127 actualise their weapons, it's in self-defence, but d-16's cannon pops out in a moment of offense
