The Chinese are killing it with the phones! Better designs, faster charging, better price to performance and really good cameras! United States have very limited options and Samsung and Apple are taking advantage of our Gov blocking Chinese phones!
@ Google has collected more info, which has been stolen by hackers. The Chinese can still buy that data from the market, stop believing everything the American corporate media tells you!
@@ronaldsavard1663Goo gle has collected and lost more data than any Chinese company. Why weren’t they banned? Plenty of US companies that collect data that have been hacked without being banned!
During my travels in Southeast Asia, I acquired a budget-friendly Redmi phone. These phones are quite intriguing. However, what deters me from purchasing the pricier Chinese smartphones is the software support. With Samsung now offering seven years of support, it's a tough offer to match. Now that I'm back in America, the cost of Chinese phones increases due to shipping or import fees deters me from buying one here. Additionally, warranty issues are a concern. Another concern is the reliability; there's a noticeable lack of long-term reviews by tech UA-camrs for some Chinese phones. I'm also interested in their long-term performance.
I wanted to try a Chinese phone so i went with a regular Redmi note 12 from Amazon because it was cheap and nice looking It's since been updated from mi ui to hyper os which is pretty smooth on that low end phone That being said I'll be waiting on the redmi note 14 pro plus global rom as that phone is simply beautiful to me Also Floss recommends Giztop so yes i would consider importing a Chinese phone that won't be getting a global rom
The big producers of phone want make more, by telling you lies. They want to the same profit line. They could out preform the Chinese in many ways, but there are too comfortable
I bought the Oppo Find 7 in 2014 from their EU store and this year I bought the Oppo Find X7 Ultra from China, it must have been destiny. I also used the OnePlus One briefly when it came out and had the P30 Pro and later P40 Pro between 2019-2024. I've never been as happy with phones as the Chinese ones. I had the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and later Galaxy S8 for a few years and they were disappointing. Small batteries, battery drain bugs, slow charging, mediocre cameras, heating issues. I also currently have a Sony Xperia 10V, and while I like their hardware, the user experience is unfortunately very poor.
To your question. I wanted to get the. Xiaomi mi 11 but giztop was all out of stock...so i went with a samsung phone....i really dont entertain the idea now, because although teally cool phones....the whole white/black listing and having to make sure the bands are good with my carrier and making sure it even workk in my area. Yeah too many variables for me to forl over import money to try these out. Im sure they work okay but nah ill stick with pixel phones
Only advantage of Samsung, Apple, and Google has in the US is network compatibility. If the Chinese phones just put more network frequency bands on their phones I believe people would take a chance at buying them.
Yes I am looking to buy a Chinese phone. I just need to make sure it will work. I am looking for a second phone for business purposes. I'd love one of these to try.
With the process of getting the carriers in the US to sell all the phones that they currently do not it's is absolutely never going to happen. Theirs too many hoops for other brands to jump through cause the Carriers holds all the power in the states. It sucks but that's the case but these brands will never do what the Carriers want them to do to sell them here. But that doesn't matter if they don't sell them. Just have to import and most of them will absolutely work on US networks .
The only reason I haven’t bought a Chinese phone, is that I can’t get insurance through my carrier, otherwise I would have ditched Samsung and apple a long time ago. They can’t match the Chinese phone price to performance.
This is not 2015. Chinese phones has better battery technology. Just hit 98% on my 10 months old OP12 charging at 100W. It is certified to not drop under 80% just after 1600 charging cycles. That's 4-5 years of usage. Apple has 1000 cycles with 16 pros with shitty 2 hours charging
We need more competition in the US. Samsung and Apple have gotten lazy.
Absolutely

The Chinese are getting better because of cost and collecting your information.

Better prices to us....I'm sure in China they're equivalent to our 1200 dollar phones...

Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful phone. And of course the 6150 mAh battery and the 1440p screen. Hugely enticing package.
It’s truly a nice one.
