5:15 Encore might be the one of the easy characters to play but her skill ceiling is insane. The amount of swap cancel you can do with her E and her charged attack takes a bit of practice especially with sanhua. Popping sanhua's ice during the short window of encore's E animation is not easy when you have to dodge as well.
After a day of practice I have only just started to get semi-consistently. It’s very fun and rewarding once you do get it though
She's better than calcharo imo, and she can function along with calcharo or other main dps
Aalto provides a 'taunt' to make the enemy aggro on his kagebunshin. It's helping so much with my dodge/parry issue.
Just a heads up, havoc rover/danjin double dreamless has proven to not buff danjin's dreamless. Havoc rover only increases her own dreamless dmg.
Are you saying iwintolose's video showing it off was wrong? Looked like it worked in his video.
@MrJayslayerjay IWTL himself said that only Havoc Rover's own dreamless is buffed and not others. Go to 6:46 of his video for that comp. People keep misconstruing the "double dreamless" comp to mean that both dreamless are buffed by havoc rover ult.
Havoc rover doesn't, but danjin's mark can buff her dreamless damage. They both can buff the echo's damage, that's why it's really good.
@TheoDimitry Danjin's mark can do that for any echo though, Crownless could also be an option since it buffs havoc dmg after using (I say could because I haven't personally done the number crunching for dps). The reason why havoc rover and danjin work well together is because of danjin's outro which buffs havoc dmg for rover.
Personally, what I want to know is how viable quick swap is knowing now that you lose outro buffs even if the character doesn't visually leave the field? Because it keeps sounding like Calcharo as a hyper carry is much much worse when it's just being careful during ult?? Im a bit lost.
Watching this while its live on iwintolose xD
Taoqi main here
1. Energy problem - Her energy problem can be solve by Yangyang outro skill.
2. Attacks - Taoqi has a skill called strategic parry. Strategic parry converts Taoqi's attacks with defense. The only way to trigger strategic parry is to parry(charge atk), intro and parrying with resonance skill.
3. Echoes - 4/4/1/1/1 is by far the best right now for her, because Taoqi has no access to crit rate weapon, Crit/Crit/Def/Def/Def Echo.
4. Buffs - Taoqi can benefit with Baizhi wearing Bell echo which gives 10% dmg boost.
My Taoqi can clear Tactical Hologram III with Yangyang and Baizhi. Also, She can tank attacks from these hologram bosses which making a wrong move just switch to her fast to tank that damage. I really feel like that no one has tested Taoqi that far. Yes, spread sheet helps you calculate damages, but with no actual combat, I don't think spread sheet is enough.
agreed and they gotta use the people more instead of staying with the favorites if they gunna come out and make a list
imo Chixia is an underrated character, if you know how to play with her and correctly build her, she's able to make insane dmg + in some critical fighting situation she can be usefull on long range, when i pulled in standard banner i've got a lot of chixia dupes, i need one more chixia to complete her " constelation " stats, and i need also the best weapon,
my team is the starting team Rover havoc, Yangyang and chixia, next step, i just need to find the 2 best characters to team up with chixia
The saddest thing is that the characters that I really like from perspective of mechanics, movesets and visuals are just not very good, objectevly (Oh, if there were no timers in the challanges/towers at all...)
+ Echo sets for aero and spectro dmg imply a quick character-swap, (after 30 seconds on the field, the set's buff is disappearing)
The most pedagogic tier list
Pretty sure theyre just trying to say its informative. They said peda not pedo
@@mohd.salman9 Brother, pedagogy is the study of how to teach effectively. Nothing to do with "pedo". Different latin roots even. You're making it weird
@@mohd.salman9 dude needs to leave the internet for at least a second.
None of these people actually played Yuanwu and it shows lol. The reason Yuanwu is low impact right now because def scales lategame and early echo all has flat attack, making him miss out a chunk of potential damage. Dude is crazy lategame actually.
Yeah tbh generally speaking anyone who makes a tierlist on this game is stupid asf
Please break this down for me on why he’s good and what teams I can use him in because he’s my favorite character and everyone is shitting on him and I don’t know what to do 😭
@@monbebehere1607 essentially, the def scaling characters can potentially catch up a little bit, since characters gain alot of defense (way more than atk) from straight up ascending and leveling. Also, with the current difficulty layout, you can play literally any character to success, as long as you invest into it. There is certain bosses were elongated stagger phases can be beneficial, if you bring a strong carry that can deliver on those windows.
It's so funny how you say none of them played a character and instead of pointing out a gameplay related argument, you brought a scaling one, which is literally the first thing a theorycrafter looks into and they don't even need to play the character to know
To me the last tier sounds like the "We don't know how to use them" tier for now
Yuan wu is just a parry and shield breaker. His dmg isn't the best but he scaled only on defensr
I cant wait to ride dinosaurs in wuthering waves
Hey I got encore at the beginner banner and I accidentally got lingyang in jiyans fifty fifty . But I have s3 danjin r2 commando of conviction
Should I reroll
the dude on bottom right and his paper lmaooo why you even up there
Isn't Yuanwu going to get good with yinlin? For someone who doesn't have calcharo ofc
Idk if this was mentioned but in the tower, after clearing some floors and advancing, I just reset the previous floor and continue clearing other floors in the same time. Basically, you can get all the rewards with only one team.
Tho, you can't flex it to others, having it displayed 12/12 and all.
@@sydorovich2532 yep. That's what I did. I left mine on the 3rd stage on both left and right side after clearing it using one team
can someone make a highlights reel
Every day i feel more and more like the only person playing aalto cus i dont have mortefi lol. I think his rotation is fun but its kinda long imo.
There actually quite some who main him and they even cleared hardest content
Riv you’re my last hope to finally call out lingyangs potential 🙏 he is so underrated… rly looking forward to your videos in the future!
Where can i find those calc sheets?
Thanks for the guides Rivenous, does it matter the echos formation? 43311? or 34311? can you please explain the differences?
if you think taoqi has split scaling you are playing her wrong. she's like Clara in HSR if you try to force her into hyper carry shes meh but if you try to play her own way she's great.
Chixia has higher DPS than on-field Danjin, less issues and higher uptime. Having her in t3 would be ridiculous.
I actually saw a clip of her just melt a boss after it spawned. But she probably require more investment to be good
@@why7654 she actually requires less investment to be good because of her 530% scaling outro. Her issue is that pre-c4 you either have to only ult/outro once every other rotation or do a terrible NA4 string that doesn't even come close to justifying itself DPS wise.
Post c4 her rotation gets 110 concerto (meaning you can cancel her first e just for ammo) and can burst every rotation with 40% ER. Chixia c4, mortefi c4, and jiyan c6 are the best 3 cons in the game and there's not even a close 4th.
This isnt to mention how insane the rest of her cons are as well
C1: about 1/4 of her damage now crits every time
C2: in mobbing situations the free 20 energy drops her ER reqs by up to 30%
C3: potential 40% damage bonus on around 1/4 of her DPS
C4: see above
C5: free 30% atk
C6: both her best and worst con. She gets nearly no use out of it, but it enables potential encore chixia double carry comps (especially if we ever get a global fusion deepen outro)
@thomasluffman8605 I'll probably invest in her when i got nobody to be dps in Tower of adversity
@@why7654 I was able to 18 star (12 starring a side then reclearing with a different team) experimental zone with chixia yangyang baizhi (I don't recommend this team; this was just to prove a point) with 60/40/40 levels and 4 star echoes (almost got there with 50/40/40) while she was still c3. unfortunately hazard zone is a very big leap, so I've only got 4 stars secured there.
@@TheRovingPunster im building chixia, any team recommendations? I have her c4 exactly
Chixia Build when
Mommy Sandwich
looks totally strange because not divide characters by roles, does not take into account the presence of resists and also aoe\solo traits. sry, but it tier list useless at all.
sleeping on the bottom tier
aalto is much better then people think, he deserves tier 1 for sure and time will show
Its funny, how S0 chixia actually outdps S0 Danjin, but doesn't get half the respect.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Danjin, probably my favorite character to play. But chixia is being slept on.
yea that's in an optimal scenario though, where you can fire every forte enhanced shot. if you need to dodge, alot of her damage goes to waste.
Danjin is so strong vs single bosses, because she is fully flexible dealing damage. she can use any window, can parry very easily and her dodge counter damage is crazy high. Her strength is dealing consistent high damage, no matter how evasive and passive you have to play, while chixia needs to rely on the boss literally not jumping on her for straight 3 seconds to get her damage off. as soon as you are getting battered with attacks, like with mephis hologrom and his clone, good luck applying any of chixia's damage.
Chixia def shines in encounters like Monke, where everything is predictable and easy to play around evasively.
@@dshearwf Funny enough, Chixia's dodge counter has a higher damage scaling (highest in the game, tied with Calcharo on his Ult stance) and does more vibration damage. Her dodge counter damage scaling is so good, that it does almost the same damage as the last hit of her skill. (Although it's not a guaranteed CRIT with S1).
So she might even get more damage, the more you have to dodge.
She does lose value outside of single target scenarios.
chixia guide when?
If you're looking for someone that has played Lingyang, why don't you invite Tenten?
try new people
Aalto, Yuanwu, and Taoqi are my favs rn 😂😂😂 just gotta learn HOW to play them, and they are soooo good. Running Illusive Dreams with Taoqi is good training to learn her style, and Dauntless Evernight is free and great on her.
The TAUNT for Aalto is peak 🔥 Yuanwu just pure DEF is gnarly
theese guys are so bad at tierlists lmao. no offense i follow them all but this game is not their gem :D
Putting lingyang in a lower tier simply cus no one has played him since cbt2 is kinda wild ngl. I also like all of them but thats where i draw the line he is literally so good and on par with the other 5 stars
@@PiaInTheHouse you should watch tenten, he made a video about lingyang, also he is the best CC for WuWa, but a little arrogant/funny if u dont mind that xd
@@PiaInTheHouse meh, i don't feel like one misplaced character makes them "bad at tier lists," especially if said misplaced character is your favorite. Lingyang's placing in this tier list is also pretty much the same with the global tier list; maybe a bit lower, but nothing crazy.
@@PiaInTheHouse players do play him and both CN players and NA and other regions and they place him around the same as in here, he was such a clunky mess in cbt2 he did gets some buff but still feels clunky compared to any other character
thank god i didn't listen to you before. and i will never listen lmao. i rerolled +30 acc. now my jianxin is C5. very disappointed. people just follow other people opinions without real testing... she is in some cases T0 and she benefits alot from her duplicates but she is hard you need to time her forte keeping in mind enemy pattern and your rotation. depending on the new characters in the future she can be T0.
her kit does everything at T0.5 level. think about that. keyword everything
Is there a need for this comment? Playing who you want and how you want feels like this channel's primary message anyway. Besides, if you want to stress meta, Verina is still obviously the best support in slot. If you don't like don't watch but I for one appreciate this content and find it very helpful for a new gacha player...
@@connorlynch119 i like his content from his other videos and it did help me. but what i wanted to communicate (to all the great helpful guys who joined together to make the tier list) is do more unbiased tests and experiments by yourselves before talking.
also i am only commenting because i do care about the content all four of them upload.
@@connorlynch119 also about verina. i think you didn't get what i was saying.
verina when she use her kit she only supp at T0 level.
while jianxin when she use her kit she supp at T0.5 level. but she also do everything else at T0.5. in addition her duplicate worth way more. and boost her more than verina. her duplicate boost compared to verina and others (in theory) is more than double in usefulness. jianxin very good for later as well not just now.
Imagine rating characters that you have no idea how to use or how they scale into late game. Getting tired of these “tier lists”
If Baizhi so useless, why'd they make her so ludicrously hot :(
That's why I'm gonna make a friking scary baizhi in future
I love her. I love her kit. I love her mechanics. I love how she feels.
She's great for heals while you're exploring and she's free. That's extremely valuable in its own way.
Weaker characters still can be very useful in content with stamina system like ToA (or PGR's Pain Cage) because they allow you to take your strongest teams to the most challenging floors. And Baizhi's still decent in any team where you can frontload damage.
She is not lol, she gives 62.5% damage buff to you your next character. And 74.5% if your carry is ice element. Thats huge
