- This run is TAS. The inputs used for the replay are from a RTA practice run done at 240 TPS.
This is a layout style level I have worked on for 1-2 months which is really a collection/showcase of interesting tech that is possible with the GD physics engine. This level isn't intended to be completed by a human but it is technically possible, as the level works on both 60 TPS and 240 TPS and no spam is required at all. This level does require 2 input methods to be used though, otherwise it is impossible. Additionally, this level may break post-2.2, which is why I wanted to show this off beforehand.
The whole style of this level is supposed to be something that fully resembles a 1.0 level but the structuring and game-play come off as extremely unfriendly. Everything about this level is upfront, there are no invisible objects except speed portals to prevent de-sync and spikes for the custom death orbs.

This layout is a nice simple way for beginners to get introduced to the basic mechanics of the game! Would suggest to all people starting out.

My favorite genre of impossible levels is when they look really uncluttered but they're still hard asf
This level feels like it has a story. It's like you're not supposed to be there, and someone really doesn't want you getting through.

I’ll explain some of the stuff here, since I know a ton about GD bugs.
Predrop as a whole: mostly just corner jumps, timing gameplay, and the fact that walls can be made of many separate blocks, each of which you’ll be able to jump on top of. 0:05 orb hitboxes are actually 120% the size of a block.
0:06 this abuses the pseudogravity bug, where the game partially thinks that it is on one gravity when it is actually on the other. You don’t die because the game thinks that you’re on normal gravity, and you can’t die to blocks by going down on that gravity, so the game doesn’t kill you. The effect lasts for a very short time, though.
0:12 you always get snapped on to slopes no matter what your velocity is.
0:26 asymmetrical ship dual. The ships’s velocities are unaligned because of how, with the ship, clicking after hitting a red pad will result in you continuing to go up, but clicking while at your terminal falling velocity will result in you continuing to go down. This isn’t used much in levels due to gameplay using it often being really inconsistent and annoying.
0:32 as the ball, holding and then hitting your head on something will result in you changing gravity.
0:34 pad hitboxes are more than just a line. You have to change gravity at a specific time, and then hit the pad to get bonked onto the block, resetting your velocity to 0. 0:35 pretty simple, you just have to click the dash orb twice.
0:36 being on the slope would result in missing the platform below it, due to being too far to the right to fall down onto it.
0:39 similar principle to 0:34, you have to hit the pad while boosting up. The velocity from the robot boost and the pad get added together, resulting in a super tall jump.
0:40 similar to before, you have to click the green orb while jumping. This is more complex, as you have to click the green orb with a second input while already holding another.
0:43 another case of the pseudogravity bug.

I’ve encountered many of these ‘bugs’ while making gameplay. Can’t express how surreal it is to see them all implemented so cleverly. Fantastic work!
I feel like this level wasn't designed to be real, idk how else to describe it.

Something I wanted to make, but could never pull off as successfully as this. This is one of the most interesting levels in terms of gameplay in this update, great job!

awesome level! I love the cool use of the tight jump orb timings as a theme and how they’re incorporated into the decoration! - edit: one quick thing - the song seems to be bugged out, when I went to play the level the song said ‘unknown’ and wouldn’t load. Just an FYI
This lvl will be probably one of the most uncomfortable gameplays ever made. But it looks so original and satisfactory to watch

If we ever enter the AI player era in this game too, this level might be one of the best challenges those AI players can face
For some reason 2/3rds of this syncs perfectly with Why Can’t This Be Love by Van Halen
This is soo cool its every single small level I built but better and thought into a single level
wow this is almost as bad as that one firework jump at 60hz where you need to jump for 1 frame and then hit blue orb because jumping moves you down faster or you dont fall down fast enough.
this is a 10/10 layout. the only part that i think should be get rid off is that one big robot jump. this should be decorated. ive been waiting for level like this forever.

i really the idea of that fake level completion line thing lol it looks so good 1:20 it would be so good for a level like a illusion it would be cool to make something like that and put it in an XXL level and then have the player disable percentage so it would look like they made it to %100 but then NO they still have like %70 percent left and it would be so funny and cool to implement into a gd level espically a XXL level since it would make the level more intresting man just thinking of it makes me want to do it just as fun i probably wont make a decorated XL lvl but just make some layout and then put the fake completion line thing at like %20 or %30 percent to mess with the player lol if i do it ill upload it to my yt and to gd servers lol but cool layout im intrested in that fake level completion thing so much
