Thanks for showcasing this game! I am super excited to get my copy soon. I think @57:25 when the runner attacks Okoye, it uses 1 action to attack and since Okoye wasn't able to defend she gets eaten. Then its second action should be to move into the same spot as Winter Soldier. If that's not how it works then please disregard. Overall a fantastic video and I hope to see either the Vision or Wasp in another video
You’re very welcome Andrew! Glad you enjoyed the video😄 D’oh, I think you are totally right. That runner should have move to Winter Soldier’s space. Oh and don’t worry, I definitely plan on throwing Vision and Wasp into the mix soon! Happy gaming!
@@themeeplemonkey2739 no worries. There’s a lot of rules to the game. A flow chart would be nice to have as a player aid haha. Quick question what sleeves are you using for the cards (both the hero cards and smaller card deck). I’m hoping to get my copy sleeved since my game group will make sure this gets played frequently
@@penguyen25 let’s see, for the smaller cards I used gamegenic mini American sleeves (44 x 67mm). For the larger hero cards I used gamegenic scythe/lost cities sleeves (72 x 112mm). I wasn’t going to sleeve these as I was worried about the plastic stat sliders, but they fit great over the sleeves.
You’re very welcome! Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video! Haha it’s easy to generate rules discussions when you make lots of mistakes!😅
when you got the brute rush card you didnt move him, and when you spawned another brute near hulk you were in the yellow and should have spawned 2 brutes I think
just wondering,, @19:06 if you can really use Spiderman's ability while ignoring zombies in the room. I also wonder if Tenacious ability can roll all dice and not just one. And nice choice of ending the game, with a thematic/dramatic 1v1 fight :D
Hmm good questions. I just looked these up. Spidey’s ability says ‘Once during your Turn, you may spend 1 🌟to move 1 Bystander or 1 Super Hero from an adjacent Zone into your Zone.’ The rule book does say when activating a Bystander in the activate bystanders step of the Enemy Phase, they won’t move if they are in a zone with zombies or if the zone they are moving into has a zombie, but since this is not technically activating them I think it’s okay🤷🏻♂️. The tenacious cards reads ‘reroll any dice.’ I take this to mean ‘dice’ as in plural, as opposed to ‘die’ as in singular. Could totally be wrong in both cases😅 Glad you appreciated Bucky’s bravery!😄
@@themeeplemonkey2739 for the first one, i want to do it thematic way, but being able and not being able to flee with spidey seems both thematic for the 2nd one, googled it before posting this comment, and dice is also considered singular, so i dont know the answer to both haha
correct me if I'm wrong (I just played this mission 3x in the last few days), there are no doors specified in the setup instructions for mission 1. Unless that's a misprint, it actually makes the game much trickier as you move toward the exit, as it triggers both buildings at the same time when there are no doors. Also: rescuing a bystander counts as an action
G’day James! Hope you are enjoying your time with the game! Thanks very much for your comments. I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you mean by both buildings triggering at the same time? As far as I can tell, all the exterior doors are closed in mission one, they just don’t have specific door tokens covering them. But I’m not sure if this is related to what you’re getting at. Did I miss spawning in one of the buildings? Of course it’s entirely possible (probable😂) that I’ve made some errors here😅!
@@swee7jimmy No worries at all! I know I do make plenty of goofs and just wanted to check if there was a rule I was misunderstanding. Thanks again for the comment. Always useful to clarify! Happy New Year!
I think you may have made a mistake with Zombie Iron Man. Once he reached the center zone he was 2 zones away from Winter Soldier and within firing range. In previous editions Zombies always checked if they could attack before moving, so i believe Iron Man wouldn't have moved and attack Winter Soldier twice! He's scary!
Hi John! Thanks for the heads up! I think someone else pointed this out in the comments a while ago and I originally thought you guys were right because that’s apparently how the baddies acted in previous iterations of Zombicide. However, if I’m reading this thread right, it seems that the rules are a bit different now (at least for Iron Man due to the wording about checking for range at the end of his activation). boardgamegeek.com/thread/2953453/few-clarification-questions Hope you enjoyed the play through either way! Do you have a copy of Marvel Zombies or Heroes Resistance yourself? Are you enjoying the game?
I picked up a copy at a Zing store here in Aus. It looks like it is also available at EB Games (since those stores seem to be part of the same company). Not sure about it’s availability elsewhere in the world. Doesn’t seem to have hit the market everywhere yet.
Nick looks like such the celebrity rocking those yellow glasses with style.
You are playing on top of the Cloudspire playmat. ... Awesome! )

Sure! I used the mini American size (42 x 65 mm) probably gamegenic brand or arcane tinmen.
I'd like an "aamm" counter in a corner
