under the tab where the "85" is, there should be points on the eyelet. But they shouldn't be overly pointy. Also the border on the size tag on the inside you should be able to see through to the fabric on the sock liner.

you can tell those are fakes right away by the front being extremely blocky instead of slick and slender like the real pair. most fakes have a shape to them that is sloppier and more blocky
