thats incorrect the sikh is above 4 varna and vedas thats the meaning and why is that nihang doing aarti
the 4 varnas were the 4 castes that split hindu indian society, guru sahib ji disregarded the caste system and brought all 4 castes into one. in terms of aarti, guru sahib ji gave us our own way of doing aarti, called aarti aarta, whcih is carried out by nihang singhs and sachkhand sri hazur sahib. the style of the aarti may look similar to hindus , however this aarti is done in front of guru granth sahib ji maharaj , instead of stone idols
