Thanks! It was one of my favourite ones to make, I kept trying to angle it by hanging off the side of my chair, then after about 5minutes I realised I could just change the angle on the editing software hahaha.
Thank you, Aaron! So pleased you liked the book. Also, I really must read Project Hail Mary sometime. I liked The Martian and keep meaning to read more from him.
Brilliant thumbnail!! I loved project hail Mary, so I must try the Martian. So pleased you loved Katie's book so much. Emma is my fave Jane Austen that I've read so far. Still have Mansfield Park and sense and sensibility to go.
@@YourTrueShelf Mansfield Park was my second favourite the first time round, but very unlike her other books because the main character is quiet and shy.
I read The Rats last year for GarbAugust. I haven’t read The Fog since I was a kid. Must reread soon. My edition of Garbology arrived Friday. It’s great. I must pick up Katie’s book. Great video 😊
I love rats😍I've had pet rats and they are very smart, interesting, beautiful , cuddly and cute😍I recommend them as pets if you are an animal lover and has time and commitment.
I had a flatmate who had pet rats and I loved them. My best friend when I was a kid too, they are lovely pets, it's a shame they have such short life spans though.
@@AaronReadABook Yes, I was actually going to say that! Really sad that their lives are so short. I love almost all animals (except worms😱), but most of all cats and rodents, especially rats.
There’s a blast from the past. I read Herbert’s Rats trilogy back in the 90’s. I remember enjoying them but not much more than that. Be looking forward to your thoughts. Picked up Project Hail Mary from a charity shop the other week, haven’t read any Andy Weir yet but I loved the Ridley Scott film of The Martian. Definitely need to read this sooner rather than later. I was forced to read Emma in school. It gave me a lifelong aversion to Jane Austen.
I didn't do Austen at school, not sure why, but I avoided her anyway until I was in my 30s. Now she is my favourite. I really thought Ridley Scott would ruin The Martian but he nailed it, I think the new film is the same writer/producers.
@@AaronReadABook they say that with children that you should only introduce new foods gradually to protect against developing an allergy. I think possibly the same holds true for literature. Too much exposure to too high a concentration of Austen seems to have caused long term consequences.
i got project hail mary as an audiobook last year because everyone kept hyping how great it is to hear rocky but i just can't get into it lol. i think i'll try to give it a go reading bc if ryan gosling got involved it should be fun haha
So many great reads! Love the thumbnail 🤩

The Trouble with Miss Montgomery Hurst sounds so good!! And I’ve been wanted to read some Andy Weir.
And I also think rats are cute! 🐀
Yes I'm on team Rat. The people in James Herbert books are usually quite horrid too, so I am glad the rats eat them.
I can’t wait to get my copy of Katie’s book in the mail-possibly today!
It's great fun! Also just a lovely physical object too.

Thanks for writing it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Trollope style 800 pager set in the same world 😆

Great reading week, Aaron. I just picked up Project Hail Mary too. Still waiting for Katie’s book. Hope all is well, Aaron! 😊
Project Hail Mary is good fun, and probably fits into Garbaugust quite well 😆

@@RaynorReadsStuff My garbology arrived Saturday. The Rats is definitely more trashy than the fog, I am enjoying it.
This is a most excellent thumbnail!

They should get Danny DeVito to play Rocky in the film.
