There have been many superstars over the years and every generation we’ve seen so many in action, carving their names in the business from A-to-Z. Now since it wouldn’t make sense to have a rumble with just 26 of those people (Even if that included a superstar who already punched their ticket into the rumble), of course it was natural to double up on the number of stars based on a certain letter of the alphabet. True, we did not see ‘all’ of our favorite stars featured in the rumble (Some of whom could’ve made a name for themselves) but out of 29 men and 1 woman, someone was clocking their entry into the Champions rumble willing to do whatever it takes. And sure enough, the winner of this bout would appear under the most unlikely of circumstances: Quadruple H… for those who don’t know, he was basically if ‘Triple H’ let himself go during his retirement from active wrestling and a plus sized contender featured in a rumble dedicated to the skinniest and largest versions of our favorite stars. The moment this guy came in, he had much to prove against some of our most familiar faces featured in this rumble and some would even suggest that he was the underdog coming in. But somehow and someway, not only did Quadruple H score an impressive number of eliminations, but in doing so he was able to secure a position into the Champions Rumble (Something the likes of The Thunder Maker has struggled to do during his run of the series). We’ve seen many surprise victories over the course of this season, but Quadruple H has definitely made a statement against all the doubters who thought he was just taking up empty space. But who was my MVP of this ABC rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty wrestlers we’ve seen in this match, fifteen competitors scored the majority of the eliminations (Practically making up half of the entire roster). The highest elimination count reached ‘3’ points, which is two eliminations higher than the standard ‘1’ elimination (Which isn’t very big, but for this match it was a decent count). For this match, I’ll give the Golden MVP Award to Quadruple H. While we’ve seen a number of competitors score the same number of eliminations as our winning superstar, in the end what separated the plus sized Evolution member was the fact he lasted the longest out of everyone in this entire match. So in a way, it’s a win-win for this fan created competitor to not only win this rumble in the season but to accomplish having the points to back up his win. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance undisputedly goes to… Razor Ramon. While there have been a ton of stars who had some mediocre performers in this season, Razor Ramon practically sits at the top of the list. Why if the object of these rumbles was to determine how many times a superstar has an ‘epic fail’ as far as performing in these bouts, Razor Ramon would at least be the champion of ‘something’ seeing as how once again this guy can’t catch a break in entering a champions rumble? What would it really take for this late great athlete to prove he deserves a place among the stars? If it’s not changing his name or if it’s not changing his size, what’s that missing piece to the puzzle to increase Ramon’s chances? I don’t know, this just to me was not one of his best fights this season. With that, another rumble has come and gone this season. It won’t be long until the big champions rumble to end the season and there are tons of names whether in wrestling or in other media we are definitely excited to see in action. Stay tuned later though as I offer my picks for my ‘ABC’ rumble participants (Or at least the major 26 with four bonus competitors).

I liked Marty Jannetty, but I never felt like he had the charisma. I didn’t see it from the times I saw and heard him, anyway. It’s possible he could have grown had they given him a push, but it didn’t seem to come natural to him. I do agree, though, I wish they had given him a push after the Rockers broke up. I’ll never forget watching Shawn turn on him and throw him threw the Barber shop window. God, I freakin miss those days. If I could turn back the clock to relive those times, I would do it in a heartbeat.

‘ABC’s, easy as 1-2-3…’
Oh! Are we on? Ahem… the ABC’s of wrestling. There have been many superstars over the years and every generation we’ve seen so many in action, carving their names in the business from A-to-Z. Now since it wouldn’t make sense to have a rumble with just 26 of those people (Even if that included a superstar who already punched their ticket into the rumble), of course it was natural to double up on the number of stars based on a certain letter of the alphabet. True, we did not see ‘all’ of our favorite stars featured in the rumble (Some of whom could’ve made a name for themselves) but out of 29 men and 1 woman, someone was clocking their entry into the Champions rumble willing to do whatever it takes. And sure enough, the winner of this bout would appear under the most unlikely of circumstances:
Quadruple H… for those who don’t know, he was basically if ‘Triple H’ let himself go during his retirement from active wrestling and a plus sized contender featured in a rumble dedicated to the skinniest and largest versions of our favorite stars. The moment this guy came in, he had much to prove against some of our most familiar faces featured in this rumble and some would even suggest that he was the underdog coming in. But somehow and someway, not only did Quadruple H score an impressive number of eliminations, but in doing so he was able to secure a position into the Champions Rumble (Something the likes of The Thunder Maker has struggled to do during his run of the series). We’ve seen many surprise victories over the course of this season, but Quadruple H has definitely made a statement against all the doubters who thought he was just taking up empty space.
But who was my MVP of this ABC rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty wrestlers we’ve seen in this match, fifteen competitors scored the majority of the eliminations (Practically making up half of the entire roster). The highest elimination count reached ‘3’ points, which is two eliminations higher than the standard ‘1’ elimination (Which isn’t very big, but for this match it was a decent count). For this match, I’ll give the Golden MVP Award to Quadruple H. While we’ve seen a number of competitors score the same number of eliminations as our winning superstar, in the end what separated the plus sized Evolution member was the fact he lasted the longest out of everyone in this entire match. So in a way, it’s a win-win for this fan created competitor to not only win this rumble in the season but to accomplish having the points to back up his win.
The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance undisputedly goes to… Razor Ramon. While there have been a ton of stars who had some mediocre performers in this season, Razor Ramon practically sits at the top of the list. Why if the object of these rumbles was to determine how many times a superstar has an ‘epic fail’ as far as performing in these bouts, Razor Ramon would at least be the champion of ‘something’ seeing as how once again this guy can’t catch a break in entering a champions rumble? What would it really take for this late great athlete to prove he deserves a place among the stars? If it’s not changing his name or if it’s not changing his size, what’s that missing piece to the puzzle to increase Ramon’s chances? I don’t know, this just to me was not one of his best fights this season.
With that, another rumble has come and gone this season. It won’t be long until the big champions rumble to end the season and there are tons of names whether in wrestling or in other media we are definitely excited to see in action. Stay tuned later though as I offer my picks for my ‘ABC’ rumble participants (Or at least the major 26 with four bonus competitors).
We need a rumble with 30 Scott Hall/Razor Ramon entrants. It would be over in under 5 minutes.

I liked Marty Jannetty, but I never felt like he had the charisma. I didn’t see it from the times I saw and heard him, anyway. It’s possible he could have grown had they given him a push, but it didn’t seem to come natural to him.
I do agree, though, I wish they had given him a push after the Rockers broke up. I’ll never forget watching Shawn turn on him and throw him threw the Barber shop window. God, I freakin miss those days. If I could turn back the clock to relive those times, I would do it in a heartbeat.
