Great rendition! My first 4 YES ( of 66 ) concerts- Dec 14, 1974 July 21-22- 1975 June 12, 1976 ( JFK stadium, Philadelphia, Pa) were RELAYER era concerts. YES "RELAYER" has been my favorite record of all time since it's US release date, December 5, 1974- my 19th birthday!
It's impossible to play this totally perfect. Even Yes has one or two imperfections in each time they play this live. As we all understand it, there's no reason for bashing the cover bands.
Yes indeed. To attempt this, deserves great credit. A bloody good effort too. Most important thing is not to insult the original and this is a good listen. The fact an audience in Japan knows this music intimately says a lot. Too
This is a near note-for-note interpretation of one, if not THE most, of Yes' most intricate and nuanced pieces. I can only imagine the hours of rehearsals these five must have put in. Astonishing commitment & accomplishment, honestly. Well done!
A great tribute to Yes, and a great showing from a band I've never heard of, but I will be looking for more from you. I've been listening to this song since it came out when I was in high school back in '74 and I love and appreciate it more as the years go by. Domo arigato!
Utterly astounding. It's one thing to play the notes, it's another thing to capture the essence of the song - the raw emotion and tone of it all. You have hit it out of the park! So impressive.
O my goodness...I can't believe there is a band covering this song.....Incredible!! Nobody is really good enough to attempt this so kudos for tackling this complex piece. This song is a masterpiece off of my favorite album. Whenever I listen to this song I am slain with emotion at the majesty and depth of it. Beautifully done.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Its too hard play yes......Gates of delirium....soon........ Or close to the edge and topographic ocean are pieces of art......they play it alive....congratulations.....greetings from Chile.
All due respect and Great performance of replicating this Masterpiece. Awaken Yes Tribute is my friend’s band from NY. Please check their version, as well. Quite Astonishing!
Wow, everyone is so good! Especially the bass line is so dynamic. Yes came to Japan. But, they never played aGates of Delirium. Everyone is so good. All of them are wonderful! It's a great reproduction of Yes, and the way he plays it with the steel guitar properly placed is great. Speaking of Yes's guitar, it's only natural that Steve Howe plays the steel guitar.
If I had a dollar for every Yes tribute band where the vocalist was a woman tapping awkwardly at a stand-mounted iPad, i’d.......well, I’d have like eight dollars. But it’s very common!
I have also noticed that there is a disproportionate amount of glancing at lyrics among Yes tribute bands with female vocalists. Does anyone know why that is so?
Next to Close to the Edge, this is one of the most complex pieces Yes ever wrote and these folks did a great job on the cover. After Alan White's passing, I read this was one of the most challenging for him to play. As a side note, once they lose the wigs and stage clothes, I'm sure they go back to their days jobs, which is probably investment bankers.😆
The bass player really has every note dialed--a real pro. Guitarist even brings the slide guitar to bear. Keyboards have all the great runs and sounds. Solid drumming, all capped by a very talented vocalist. Really great. I wonder if they're still playing this?
My hat's off to anyone that would even attempt to play this live.
mine too.
We are three.
This song is totally insane.
As a life long fan of yes I think that you have done a great job
I love it
Great rendition!

Love you all! Great musicianship, I love her accent and vocals too. Really does justice to yes versions. An enjoyable experience.
I often find myself coming back to this gym absolutely chilling
Im glad there aren't people bashing any imperfections in this performance..such a monumental challenge to even attempt this piece
It's impossible to play this totally perfect.

I applaud such a worthy attempt at such a complex composition.
The gates of delurium will be remembered as Beethoven music. Great job.
Of course.
Attempting this live is absolutely incredible!! Excellent performance!!
Brave people performing one of the most difficult pieces to be played in live. One thousand bravos!
God bless you guys for keeping Yes music alive. Kudos for attempting such a complicated, intricate composition. Only the best can play YES music!
Awesome! The lead and bassist are summoning their inner Howe and Squire. Nice job! Not easy🤗❤✌
Well, dang. These guys really nailed it. Very impressive. They even had a little fun with the wigs.
STUNNING 😀
Bloody awesome!! Brilliant! Cheers and all the best from Montreal, Canada!
If you can play YES, live, you can play anything. The most difficult to play
Sam Wa, and arguably the most difficult and intricate songs by Yes 👍
@@PopShoppekid , most intrincate than The Ancient Giants Under The Sun?
The "Soon" segment of this song, performed by this band, is particularly transitional to a place of beauty I cannot begin to describe.
Awesome Job.
Good to see another tribute of the best band of all time
Guitarist is excellent, Bassist and Keyboard players are top shelf. Very impressed by this performance
This is a near note-for-note interpretation of one, if not THE most, of Yes' most intricate and nuanced pieces.
I can only imagine the hours of rehearsals these five must have put in.
Astonishing commitment & accomplishment, honestly.
Well done!
YESSIR!!
i'm almost more surprised at how they got the same sound and tone as Yes's studio recording. That guitarist sounds exactly like Howe.
Amazing!, if you can Yes in live, if you can play anything, Bravo!!
Holy crap! Outstanding!
A great tribute to Yes, and a great showing from a band I've never heard of, but I will be looking for more from you. I've been listening to this song since it came out when I was in high school back in '74 and I love and appreciate it more as the years go by. Domo arigato!
Fabulous, one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands! I love Japan, domo arigato!
Most excellent! Greetings from Baltimore, U.S.A.
Utterly astounding. It's one thing to play the notes, it's another thing to capture the essence of the song - the raw emotion and tone of it all. You have hit it out of the park! So impressive.
A very tough song to do and you pulled it off. Great job! Greetings from LA!
O my goodness...I can't believe there is a band covering this song.....Incredible!!

This song is a masterpiece off of my favorite album. Whenever I listen to this song I am slain with emotion at the majesty and depth of it.

Wow, everyone is so good!
Especially the bass line is so dynamic.
Yes came to Japan. But, they never played aGates of Delirium.
Everyone is so good. All of them are wonderful!

Great job.
Nice job!!!
Espectacular, una pieza muy dificil creada por Yes,quede impresionado con su performance :)
Very good. I am amazed at where you start to learn to play this. It is surprising even Yes themselves can play it. Well done!
Fantastic ....great job:)
Great job on this cover.
Incredible. Well done.
Well done. Not at all easy. PS - The guy in the audience busy with his app front left is obviously thrilled with the performance too :).

I have to say this is better than the last live version played by the actual Yes band. Well done!

YAY !
Grupo japonés versioneando a Yes... 🤔
El mundo es maravilloso.👍
The guitar player plays the opening part about as well as Steve Howe did.
