Shocking few views from one of the most aweseome bands never to make it big and the once future hailed future of British pop!! If more people bought this album their later albums would have continued the trend!! Mind blowing stuff. This album and Nowhere are so amazingly AWESOME it is unreal. I absolutely love this band!!!! GREATNESS!!
This is as musical it gets amigos'. just listen to the vocals' and backing vocals' during the first 2 mins,. Souch a harmony of voice and instrument. There is no other band that can truly achieve this stupendous and most splendid sound. And as for the final crescendo - purely marvellous!!! Grand kudos to this gentleman band.
I've listened to this song once, but it's long ago. Today, I woke up, and all of a sudden, a melody came into my mind .I don't hesitate and try to find the song. Now you're listening with me. This may be the third Ride song I ended searching with.
Been trying to remeber the bands name for some time... my old vinyl collection too far away to look through... refound lost youth... Creation weren't the best at promotion... an album to be proud of.. just like 'nowhere'
Running away, you're lost for words again Now you've got all what you wanted, are you really satisfied? Tricky scenes, tricky little dreams The earth spins, my head spins me back round to you
Ride's strength (at the beginning) was that they had two singer/songwriters who happily sang harmonies perfectly. Ride's weakness (after this album) was that they had two singer/songwriters who wanted to sing his own song alone. Their early ep's and Nowhere are perfect, as is this, but the albums after this are not good at all.
Carnival of Light is great sans the stupid Stones childrens choir at the end (which if you’re listening digitally, you can swap out for the single version without the kids). Sure, it could have benefited from progressive production, but the songs and harmonies are still there, and I don’t mind the retro sound. Album cover is shit though. Tarantula probably is shit…. Mark Gardener’s sole contribution is the worst song they’ve ever done by a long shot, but the rest of it kinda grew on me.
Huyendo Has perdido las palabras de nuevo Ahora tienes todo lo que querías ¿Estás realmente satisfecho? Escenas difíciles Pequeños sueños dificiles La tierra gira y mi cabeza me hace girar de vuelta a ti
Highlight of the album i think. I can't hear Fade Away by Oasis in this but this was released before and is far superior. Oasis did rip off Stereophonics "Same Size Feet" with "Hindu Times" though.
I'd never realized how amazing the drumming on this was before, it's fucking awesome!
Oh bro, one of the greatest! Kieth Moon, Mitch Mitchell, Allen Wren (Reni), Laurence Colbert, Chris Cooper (Pale Saints).. Legends!
Loz is next to Jaki Liebzeit as the goat drummer.
This song is eternal
Listening to this for 5 years straight since discovering ride.. much love

this album is awesome! every song is so god
Yes, every song is God, biblical indeed.
@@marshallemmet1366 so god
correct
Listening to this track is like being in heaven.
best song from the album
It is. It's the only track that captures the spirit of the early EPs, which for me was their best work.
This album.
What a great song! Mind blowing.
When power fuses with melody, dynamism and some of the greater moments of British rock history tagging along for the 'ride'!
Saw these guys perform in Nottingham the other night and they were absolutely superb

Increíble sonido, una obra maestra, llevo años escuchándolo y no me canso nunca.☻
Great tune from a great band
Hey Ride - where are the "ads" to skip - you need to make a living from all your hard work. I LOVE this song - John USA
I can't wait for their reunion tour. See you guys in NYC!
Running away, you're lost for words again
Now you've got all what you wanted, are you really satisfied?
Tricky scenes, tricky little dreams
The earth spins, my head spins me back round to you
This is near the top of all-time fav shoegaze tracks - so good!
conocí este disco hace 8 años y fue de lo mejor que hice hasta ahora
I’m getting into them for the first time this year and it’s been amazing. Love the in rainbows profile pic too. Radiohead are my favorites.
This song gives me chills, this album is amazing
Masterpiece

... and then they imploded.
that's the way it goes.
The harmonies on the songs from this album are really fantastic.

Fookin epic! 🤯
This is an odyssey.

Escenas difíciles
Pequeños sueños dificiles
La tierra gira y mi cabeza me hace girar de vuelta a ti
I still have the copy I bought on first release, when I was 19... but I have ordered the rerelease.
Great track, superb guitar work...... dare you not to tap your feet hahaha :)
Banging tune!
Still fooking awesome.
RIDE OX4 EVER!
Ah the memories.
For God's Sake, Noel Gallagher has done it again.
2:36 going to get these lyrics tattooed on me one day!
Go for it. Would be sweet

Oasis did rip off Stereophonics "Same Size Feet" with "Hindu Times" though.
they ripped of everyone, they only had the attitude, all british bands before them did far better.
this sounds like a song from a Sonic game soundtrack
I still think about this. Hearing this on the Sonic Unleashed soundtrack would be godlike
shoegaze on a sonic gane would be fire, i'm surprised they haven't thought of that yet considering how shoegaze is still pretty much alive in japan
