At least, you have said that " you" don't see anything wrong. That's your choice and we respect it .But well, God says there is something wrong with it(ring), that is why He sent this message for us His people and let it be known unto you my brother/sister that God is not a respecter of persons. His word will stand whether you want to hear it or not.

I believe it's time the churches start to address this and not push it under the carpet anymore, because it's not gonna just go away. The conference should come forward and discuss this. This is taken completely out of context. The entire scripture is just admonishing us to dress decently and not purposefully draw attention to yourself. Literally only 2 min at best spent on the scripture and the remaining 14 min on "writings" as if it's scripture. Im glad i read it in its entirety. As far as wedding rings are concerned, why have we as a church adopted the wearing of a ring? Is this not a compromise with the world? We are conforming to the world instead of the world conforming to the truths we teach as it is in Jesus. Remember when the Pharisees of Jesus's day asked him about, "Why did Moses give a command of writing of divorcement to put away our wives?" Jesus's reply was, "BECAUSE OF THE HARDNESS OF YOUR HEARTS, he suffered you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was NOT so." Therefore this wearing of the wedding ring among us seems to have been a request brought to the GC to allow us SDAs to wear it; The GC allowed it, "BECAUSE OF THE HARDNESS OF OUR HEARTS, but from the beginning it was NOT so. Let us get back to the old paths, and tear down these altars of Baal. Praying always for my beloved world church body. ♥

We are living in the very last days , and many worldly things in our beloved church and among its believers needs to be restored . To many this restoration , the breaking down of false teachings which has crept in among us , and practiced among us , brought in by the self send leaders in our midst , needs to be departed from and restored , and to many this returning back to the old paths will be a very painful acceptance . May the Good LORD be merciful unto us , the second exodus has begun and we have to get up on the wagons or be left behind.
Many years ago, Married a SDA. After becoming a Christian, SDA, we had several Visits by Elders and once the Pastor came to our Home, attempted to ask about wearing Wedding Rings. Without anymore BS, I told him that We are Married and We made a Commitment to God before we Met Him. So I told Him, Pastor, I took a Vow, To God, Country and Corps Values. As a Marine, I told Him to this Day, I have kept those Vows. Now do you want us to Be part of The Flock, our would you like Us to Leave? Years later, when when still Together and Still wearing Our Rings, left the Adventist Church, and Continued to Worship our Lord and Kept our Rings.
When the prodigal returned home the first thing his father did was to put a ring on his finger. I wish you pastor could teach us how to live and prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord. Each gate in heaven is made of jewels. What will you do tell the Lord that you can't enter because of the jewelry.
My opinion is that you criticize Pastors wives wearing wedding rings. This is a very acceptable tradition and this I majoring in minors and legalistic . Nothing to do with salvation. Of you want to make money UA-cam then choose gospel orientated messages . You quotes SOP is not authoritative over scripture. Ellen white did not approve of wedding rings. She instructed people on health and still ate meat and prawns just before she passed on. She and her husband told church members with the shut door teaching to sell their properties and give to church while they held on to theirs. Follow only scrioture for guidance, council and truth. 2 Tim 3:16:and not false Prophets like EGW and her copied books . Please refer to Exodus and note that GOD led Israelites out of Egypt and was well aware that they wore jewellery and did not state one text for them to remove it until a Sanctuary had to be built. MOST SDA sabbath school class teachers & members will not even read all 155 verses over the 13 weeks in class. It takes just 12 verses each sabbath. The classes will just discuss and argue over the lesson and topics, LIKE USUAL!! Most churchgoers , including SDA, have never read the whole bible or even the whole new testament ONCE!
Church members be careful to not just say Amen to everything. Search and investigare the topics presented. There are many SDA in african countries who follow some of their traditio s su h as dress and braided hair. And some more than one wive or live wirh women without marriage due to culture. Weddung rings all over the world for centuries is totally scceptable and not wrong again it is not wrong and must continue until Jesus comes and church please note you will not loose your salvation Start addressing these points.
We rather follow a "Thus saith the LORD" not culture. When someone is truly converted they leave the culture that doesn't align with the word of God. Choose ye today. . . God bless.
