I think that the person was just playing it very slowly, if you've played spiderman ps4 you will notice that the person isnt pressing the "x" button to do like a momentum release where peter does flips and stuff, he's just releasing r2. I've played the game several times it looks the same to me when you're not using momentum via the x button

It's not like the entire game is QTE's, Insomniac even confirmed that themselves. And about fall damage, it's still being decided. I don't think they'd want to reveal everything to the public, then there's nothing to be excited about. I think you're being a bit overdramatic about the QTE's tbh, we are going to be challenged in this game anyway and the QTE's won't affect that. Even Uncharted had QTE's and it still was challenging. I personally like them, it makes it feel more cinematic. As long as they're not filled with those I'm totally fine with it. Wait until the full game comes out before deciding if the QTE's take the full experience away from the game or not.
Again, that's just one sequence. You don't even know if there could be different outcomes with the QTE's, and that demo was shown almost a year ago. Again, you don't even know what's going in the game and you're already assuming that Spider-Man isn't going to fail at all in this game's storyline. Because if they show too much of Miles, the audience is going to expect him to be a big role in the plot but from the minor footage, Miles to me seems like he's just going to be a came or like a small character. I wouldn't be pissed if that were to be true because that's what I'm not expecting.
