I don’t usually talk equipment, but thanks to @mattr862 for the request! My only two default picks are 2x krak grenades and comm-beads. The comm-beads to ensure that the Vox Operator is always able to transmit the orders given by the Watchmaster/Confidant, and the krak grenades because of the increased punch they add to our shooting. The other two selections vary a lot based on the map and enemy team, but often include ladders, razor wire, light barricades on ITD, and sometimes hand axes. I haven’t been able to get the chronometer to work out for me since it is almost always just a Turn 2 opener, and I’ve never had the courage to try the gas bombardment in a game! I’ll start pinning comments about equipment for viewers too ❤️
Love my death corp, my first team I bought! Not always my first pick but good fun. On gallowdark I always run chronometer, and step one for insane board control is always group activate troopers to run and open your 2 most important doors before the game even has time to start. And chronometer may seem weak due to walls in the way on gallowdark, but it's super useful for repositions team wide reacting to the opponents set up! Super fun team to dump bodies onto OBJ in gallowdark
Great video but you forgot equipment! :( Plz if possible you should make a follow up, pinned comment or update description to include what your picks are… I always go for hand axes, 2 kraks, Comm-beads (so vox guy can go anywhere or with gunners on the map). For my 4th I keep it flexible gas is good for blocking an objective depending on if opponent is 2apl and crit op requires an apl to do. I find chronometer really hard to properly utilise and kind of requires turning point 2 initiative to make the most of.
Since the standalone Deathwatch kill team from the compendium didn’t transition to the 3rd edition, I’d personally run them as Angels of Death as there are a ton of customization options you could do with that team. Plus, it is only 6 models and you could really pour some love into each one!
