You need to use a minimum of spf 30, whether it’s summer or winter. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean the UV rays reduce. Also if you have dry skin, simply using a lot of moisturiser isn’t going to add any hydration to your skin, it only seals in whatever you applied prior. So for dry skin types use a hydrating serum and then apply a moisturiser to seal in the hydration
