To be honest, this podcast has a mix of everything 1) Mr Gupta's sales pitch , 2) The reality of the investment environment in India and the mindset of the people in the Govt. 3) What is good and what can be improved. The bottom line is , all is good as long as the investment is coming to India.
Great! This was a great conservation. But, having a CA in family never makes a family middle class. I obsereve these days that every successful person wanna show case himself coming from a humble background.
Indians don't understand that a salary of 3000-5000 dollars is also middle class. The Indian definition of middle class that you can only afford a scooter is wrong. The global definition of middle class is up to USD 300k a year household income.
On the contrary, during the time I was pursuing CA (2009 - 2014) in Pune, almost 95% of practicing CA's I met were squarely middle class people. As a matter of fact, CA is just like any other profession, top percentiles make an insane amount of money, a lot of people are quite well of but for most people, CA is not a profession which can take you from middle class to wealthy class.
Glad to see such well informed people advising GOI. Lets all commit together to deliver the best in our respective fields and make India story a reality.
Networking is the gateway to doing business in India. It’s crucial everywhere, but in India you can’t join a network without being related by kin. That’s the difference. Elsewhere, people network based on common ideas, and everyone’s looking for fresh talent. Disruptions to this network happens in India only during a crisis, where there’s no other choice. That’s why India barely innovates. It’s just not in our culture.
Thanks for sharing this, please invite more such speakers as there is so little exposure to what they do for investments and running businesses in comparison to sciences.

Disagree with the guest comment that believe in Government report (Whichever it is), just now Subbarao wrote a book where he has mentioned that how RBI was under tremendous pressure to portray false deta by the government of his time (UPA).
@AbhijitChavda ji, If your guests are more comfortable speaking in Hindi or are fluent in Hindi, I would suggest recording the podcast in Hindi. This will likely reach a wider audience of Indian listeners who may not be comfortable with English or may not understand it at all. More importantly, this is not just about increasing viewership on your video. It's about spreading the truth about our country, Bharat, to as many people as possible, which could help to change their views.
