SVG for Bubble Gum Afro Lady purchased from Etsy
Font: Varsity Regular
Image Size: I set my image width to 3.5" for that project. Cricut automatically sized the height to the correct corresponding height for me. I set the width of the letters to somewhere around 3" - 3.2", and Cricut sized the height for me.
Starcraft Permanent vinyl purchased at 143vinyl.com (Vinyl color: Beige)
Glue used in this video is E6000 clear
Maars 16oz Acrylic Tumblers can be purchased from Amazon:

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
I recommend that you hand wash only with mild dish detergent and either towel dry, (patting the design dry), or air dry. Although this glue boasts being permanent, waterproof, and able to withstand heat up to 180°, I wouldn't recommend soaking your tumbler and I would not put it in the dishwasher. I prefer to err on the side of caution when I put this much work in.😊 Hope this helps! - Навчання та стиль

Super cute ! Can you make a video on how you use your cricut ?
Thanks, Shaunnell! Absolutely! That's definitely on my list of videos to make!💗
How do the gems hold up to washings? Btw....beautiful job!
I have read through the comments first...lol... watched the video a few times 🥰
Still wondering since the switch from e6000 to the other, how have the stones held up and have you sealed them or not? Question is for single wall cold tumbler and double wall as well as glass and ceramic.
Thank you so much for the amazing quality videos that you post.
Lol...GemTac works very well and I have found no need to seal the rhinestones. The GemTac has held up perfectly with normal hand washing. I'm very happy with it. I don't have any experience with single wall tumblers. The tumblers I prefer to use are double wall to reduce any issues that condensation may possibly cause. I have used GemTac on my ceramic coffee mugs as well....Perfect!👌🏽....No problems whatsoever. Lastly, I tried it on a design I did on a glass jar candle similar to the one I did in one of my earlier videos. I was a little nervous about it the design being exposed to the heat, but everything held up perfectly!👍🏾 I appreciate you taking the time to comment and to ask questions!🥰

💛🌼Thank you so much for the helpful tips and advise 🌼💛
@@shiloquik You're welcome!😊😊😊
Thank you for sharing, it’s absolutely beautiful. Can you please say what color you used for the skin? I recently got a Cricut this will be my first project. Thanks
Hey Khandie! Congratulations on your new Cricuit! Happy crafting!!! The color I used for her skin is beige. Here's a link to the product: www.143vinyl.com/starcraft-hd-glossy-permanent-vinyl-beige-12-x-12-sheet.html
That is beautiful!! What are the most common use sizes??? I’m trying make Starbucks cups and lids...
Beautiful. What color vinyl for the skin 😍
Hello. I love how you layered this vinyl. I have tried to cut it several times but mine did not cut like that. When I ungrouped it, the bubble gum did not have the lines. The color of the face only had the top cut out so it covered the eyes. Is it possible for you to do a video on how you cut the vinyl please. I am having a hard time. 🤦🏽♀️
Hi Kenyada!
When I purchased this image a long time ago, I purchased the PNG and took it into Photoshop, tweaked it to my liking and made it into an SVG. I don't remember where I purchased it from originally. If you email me your file, I can take a look at where the problem is and screen record the solution for you. My email address is: imaniabydesign@gmail.com
This is beautiful I'm trying to figure out the house to with the letters
Simply Beautiful! Great video! What transfer tape do you use? I have tried Kassa and it sticks to the design and is extremly hard to get the design off of the tape.
Aww...Thank you, Sandra! I get my transfer tape from a company called Auxiland. They are located in the jewelry district in downtown Los Angeles. The quality of their transfer tape is second to none. I do a lot of work, so I buy their big roll. In my opinion, I think the price is outstanding for the quality of tape they sell. The adhesion is very strong yet it does not stick when and where I don't want it to stick! #winwin 😁 Here's a link:
axiland.com/products/hotfix-tape?_pos=1&_sid=bcc7702e6&_ss=r
I hope this helps.😊
Girl u better go to dollar tree and get the clear contact paper they have that is used to line the cabinets. Perfect amount of sticky
You do beautiful work and make it look 👀 so easy. I work with Epoxy. Do you ever seal your cups or would it take away from the shine of the rhinestones?
Thank you so much! You are correct. I never seal the rhinestones because it would take away the shine. I purchased some epoxy but I haven't learned how to use it yet. If epoxy goes bad after some time, I may be in trouble. LOL!
Hi loved the video the website for the rhinestones isnt working😫also do you need to sand these cups before doing anything to them? Thank you
I love that, pls can show me where to get this items for that
Love this can you tell me where to get the stones from
Great video!!!! 💞💞💞💞💞
Thank you!!!
This is beautiful! What size did you cut the image out?
Thank you! This image is approximately 3.5" x 3.5". The lettering is about 3" x 1".
U are talented!
Thank you!
I'm trying 2 learn how 2 do layering the vinyl. I have a silhouette cameo 4. Do you know if the process would similar using silhouette design studio? Thank u
what is the instructions that you give to customers for the care of the cup? is it hand wash only etc? also how long do you allow it to dry?
What vinyl and transfer tape are you using because it looked very easy to weed and transfer,
Great video! I like it quick and to the point....Question I see you said the lettering is 3 inches. However, is the green 3 inches as well? I been trying to figure out how to do the layering of letters for awhile. Thanks for video :)
Hi Michelle! The name of this font is called Varsity Regular. I wish the answer to your question was quick and to the point, but it's kinda long. I did the best I could for you though. Lol.
I did the lettering in this video in Photo Shop. (Scroll down for other instructions if you aren't familiar with or don't have access to Photo Shop.)
PHOTO SHOP INSTRUCTIONS:
1. I use the font Varsity Regular. It has an outline on each letter.
2. I bold the font to thicken the outline.
3. Using the magic wand tool to select the outline of the letter.
4. I then choose my color and apply it to the outline/selection. While outline is selected, I then use the tool 'layer via CUT'. This cuts the outline out.
5. I repeat the process to the inner portion of the lettering.
6. When I'm finished with both layers (inside and outline), I use the option within photoshop to export layers to files. This will give me the two separate images to upload to cricut.
~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°
If you aren't familiar with Photo Shop, then after you've imported the VARSITY REGULAR font into Cricut Design Space, you can just take your text, attach the AKA together, size it to 3" and cut 2 of the AKA's out. One in pink and one in green. Weed one so just the outline is left, and weed the center of the other one and layer it into the outline. With this font, Cricut is going to take care of sizing both layers for you automatically.
@@imaniabydesign Thank you so much for your patience and time explaining in detail. I really appreciate it so much. You are truly a sweetheart. I must ask are you a Soror? Nevertheless, I appreciate you taking the time to explain step by step. Wish me luck! I am going to try it out.
Do you have to seal it with anything? If not how long do the gems stay in place?
Did a wonderful job. Did you seal with something after completion?
Thank you! No, this particular project does not need to be sealed.
Tip: by now im sure you've figured out its so much easier to layer with parchment paper? LOVE your cup.
Parchment paper ?
@@Lovinlamont110873 Yaaaaasa! go to Toutube & look up layering vinyl with parchment paper. you will THANK ME LATER. Lol... Really its a LIFE CHANGER.
Hi hunny I love your video n how your tumbler came out. I'm making coffee mugs like this, but do you know if cust can drink hoy líquida un it? Rhinestones WON'T come off?
Hi there! Thank you. Yes, you can drink hot liquid in your coffee mugs. I wouldn't put it in the microwave or dishwasher, but I drink hot coffee and hot tea in my rhinestone coffee mugs all the time and I've never had a rhinestone to come off. I hope this helps!
How do you do the different color vinyls like the bubble with earrings and hair colors and stick all together on the transfer paper how do you put all that together with hair?????
How do you make the decal that is a beautiful cup
Beautiful you for sharing your craft. MY BUT I ENVY YOUR SPEED...yes I know you mentioned it's speeded up. LOL. But don't we wish we could go that fast. I have been skipping the idea of going with a rhinestone picker upper and now you have convinced me to search for one. I'm a fan of E6000 glue too despite it's recent anti use due to those who don't grasp that when a product warns you to use ventilated and follow safety protocal it should be fine. Driving a car is a whole lot less safe. Anyway loved this water glass and it's design. I look for small projects to do when I go to my SHE CAMP/GLAMPing trips for 1-2 weeks every summer. I've been camping alone as a female for over 50 years. Hubby of 49yrs is not into that world. You would be amazed at the single ladies or soloing females of all ages and education levels out there camping alone due to similar situations. My hubby is fine with me camping and of course he si always welcomed. I get away to excercise eat right and fascia blast and ride my bike all without house hold pressure or interuptions. And books are great for evenings and bring jigsaw puzzles too but love to have a few more practical projects where I come home from CAMP with a few made items too. Already have some ideas popping into my head. Stay safe everyone.
Wow! Thank you for sharing! 😊Although I love my husband dearly, I definitely cherish my personal time as well. I am blessed to have a husband that allows me that time alone to do things that make me happy. I think he knows that I come back more grounded and centered. That works well for us both! Wouldn’t it be nice if we could work this quickly while placing rhinestones??? LOL! That would be great! I recently tried the e6000 non-toxic formula. The consistency is different, but it works well once you find your flow. Thank you for watching and for sharing a bit of your story!😊
Hi lovely love it but how do you seal it? I mean how do you prevent the vinyl from coming off I know the rhinestones stay in place because the glue is great but after washing it won't the vinyl come off? Thanks
I’ve seen a few people asking this & she’s answered everyone else’s questions, but this one. I’m in the process of experimenting with this myself. I’m just going to make sure some adhesive is on the outside of the vinyl to seal the edges. I use this method for my FULL Bling tumblers, but wasn’t sure how it would work with a small blinged section only. I do know from experience I haven’t had any issues with the ones I’ve fully blinged using vinyl.
@@rebekahmckenna5134 You’re right about using permanent vinyl, but you’re wrong about it not lifting. Over time, usage & washes… it will indeed peel off if you don’t seal it. That’s why it’s important to completely cover the vinyl with the adhesive & rhinestones.
The vinyl is permanent vinyl and will not come off. Hand wash and not soak it or put in dishwasher.
I love this, I just beginning to apply them and I was wondering do I need to apply anything on the project for the purpose of sealing and drying method.
Thank you! No sealing required on this project. I've been using mine for 2 years and I still have all my sparkly stones. Just carefully handwash and the rhinestones should stay put for a very long time. I included washing instructions in the video description if you would like to take a look. I hope they help. Have fun and thanks for watching! 😃
☺️ thank you for you reply and I just subscribed so I will check you out on more videos. Have a marvelous evening on purpose
Thanks so much! I sure will! You do the same.😃
did you use a seal once completed the placement
Did you seal the stones with a spray afterwards
Hello ... I’m a newbie... where did you purchase your tumbler’s? Your work is awesome 🥰
Hello and thank you, Michele! I added a link to these tumblers in the description for you. :)
Beautiful are those glass rhinestones ?
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, they are glass.😊
Any tips on flipping rhinestones right side up when you are trying to bling cups and other things?
Thank you for watching, Regina! That's a great question! It can be a pain when you're on a roll then have to stop and flip stones right side up...Especially when you need to hurry because of wet glue.🥴 I pour my rhinestones into a saucer so that there is as much surface area as possible, then I try to flip as many stones as possible right side up BEFORE I start so I don't have to do it as much while I'm working. That's what I do. If you come across any better tips and tricks, PLEASE let me know!!😊😊😊
OMG, my sister-in-law would love this. Do you take orders or have an Etsy shop?
Hi, thank you! I have a website. Here's a link.😊
www.imaniabydesign.com/product/bubblicious/
You can turn this into a business.
How do you get the colored outline? I need help with things like the earring being a different color
How does it hold up in washing it? This is so cute
Thank you for watching, Reina! It holds up very well! I put washing instructions in the video description. These are the instructions that I follow, and I give these instructions to my customers. We've never had a problem. 💕
Lovely thanks for sharing please what the name of the glue
Thanks for watching! I used E-6000 Clear glue in this video. You can also use E-6000 Plus (clear) which their low-odor, non-toxic version of the glue. Other glues that work well for this project are Supertite, Liquid Fusion and Gem-Tac.
Hola, great video! What did you use to seal everything?
Hello, thanks for watching! No sealing necessary on this particular project. The glue is strong so it holds the rhinestones permanently and the permanent vinyl is strong enough to stay in place as well. As a precaution, I don't put mine in the dishwasher and I don't soak them. I merely handwash them after use, and the stones have stayed beautiful.
I put washing instructions for this project in the video description.😊😊😊
With the rhinestone picker do u use the wax end to pick up the stones
Hi Stephanie! Thanks for watching.😊 Yes, that is correct!😊
Love the video. I have the same tumblers . I just cant get the right size to put on the tumblers. What would be the best size. Thank you.
Hi Roshaunda! Thank you!!! 😊 This design is 3.5". The AKA is approximately 3". I hope that helps!
Imania By Design yes Thank You so much
Hi there! I love this cup 😻 are these cups washable? How long does the glue have to cure for?
Hi Kassie! Thank you! Yes they are washable. I recommend that they be handwashed with a little mild detergent, but not soaked. I allow the glue to set for at least 48 hours. Some recommend 48-72 hours.😊
Imania By Design thank you so much!!❤️
You're welcome!
Can you make a video on caring for your tumbler?
I'm just wondering can you use sublimation paper on regular printer? And I have tried to put my vinyl on my mug, but it wouldn't heat press on it even though, I haven't received my 15 x 15 heat press yet. I will receive it Friday. Can you help me?! Should I use regular or Oracal 651 vinyl paper? Please help me!
Where did you get your rhinestones from?
