Thanks for watching! They look big in pictures and video but look ok in the flesh cant seem to find smaller wheels at the moment though will keep looking hope to take it out this weekend on a trail
smaller wheel would be good, they got the bodyshell pretty accurate (i have a 1:1 scale one too!) i considered painting the edge of the rim black which would make the rim look smaller and tyre look higher profile
Awful, awful wheels. What were they thinking and the less about the idea of fitting portals the better. Such a good looking car let down by marketing driven design choices. Fortunately straight axle conversion is easy using MN parts, and a WPL axle swap for a more scale track width also possible. My fully WPL converted blue 168 is my current favourite car.
@RcScaleTales Cool I'll look out for how yours progresses. All WPL axles are the same - either the metal upgrade or stock RTR (there's some minor detail differences with older and current RTR axles but not enough to describe them as different). It's the metal upgrade ones you'd want anyway. I've had a few different MNs converted to WPL axles for the narrower track width and will be doing another 99 soon. The only real issue is that you also need to use the WPL Truss as the axle mounting holes are closer together on WPL than they are on MN axles. I tend to use the WPL link kits too, making my own link bars from 3mm all thread or 3mm double ended studs in places that the WPL supplied parts aren't quite long enough.
It is a very cool looking RC range Rover 👍👍👍👍🍕🥤
It certainly is
Good rc car
It is , I’m impressed
Very nice range rover for the price 👍

Thanks for watching! Hi , yeh well worth the money and I think the pro does look good
Dang she looks pretty 😮
I agree, very nice model
RHD is a bonus for me, British cars should be RHD. I do agree, the wheels look a little large.

@@RcScaleTales I was looking at my MN D90s, the wheels seem smaller as do the ones on my MN82 Land Cruiser
Do the Mn82 wheels fit ?@@RcScaleTales

Thanks for watching! Since making the video I’ve found smaller wheels and the model is now transformed hopefully get a video out soon
@@RcScaleTales would you have a link for those wheels? I'm looking for decent scale wheels
@@johnlock247 message my Facebook page and I can show pictures and share link
Pretty sure the roof rack from the MN182 will fit directly into the roof rack holes on this MN168 but someone correct me if I am wrong
Yes I have since bought one and hope to do a video soon with the Range Rover on the trail complete with mn182 rack
The wheels deffo look big but lets just pretend she's been modified for serious off roading 😅
Yeh wheels look better in the flesh still going to look for a smaller wheel though
More than too big, the tires have too low a profile..
Totally agree since making the video I have upgraded and bought new wheels and they look much better

I’ve got new wheels coming, which wpl axles did you use sounds like a good idea
