I am actually from the same exact town this girl is from and I can tell you she’s not the only one down there like this. This is south Florida at its finest!
Something definitely didn't add up in that video. I get that they want her to stop doing weird stuff like gifting free samples for Christmas or putting coffee in her hair. But they said she's a business owner, she's saving $25k/year living with family, and she didn't spend 2 whole hours arguing and yelling at them for tricking her into spending $200 at a restaurant. Those comments definitely didn't seem like something someone would actually react with. And then, of course, the lack of baking. This seems like the kind of thing that would appear on the Dr. Phil show where he would tell her that she seems to be taking the money-saving to an unhealthy extreme. But more importantly, her family is encouraging her money-saving by not charging her rent when she has a job and letting her do odd things. Seems more like they're annoyed by seeing the odd things she's doing rather than her possibly having an unhealthy addiction. And then suddenly forcing her to pay for dinner at a restaurant wouldn't help her, it would just ruin their relationship. Need Dr. Phil to send them all to the ranch. Also, what's wrong with washing your car in the rain? I've heard people do that a lot.
If she's a business owner, can you imagine the hell she must put her suppliers/distributors through? "ok, thanks for the delivery....oh, this invoice, yeah, it's too much, can you mark it down some?" Delivery driver: "Uh....no...?"
Nah. She has no reason to leave all of the providing for her children to her family. You think her kids wouldn't be living off of the same bland minute rice? That grandma is keeping the babies fed, housed and clothed. The absolute least she can do is start spending to take care of her needs (and maybe stop stealing from the people supporting her then returning the stolen property "as a gift".) If this is doesn't spur her into taking part in the family affairs it at least forced her to pay grandma back 200 of the tens of thousands that grandma is provinding every year.

@@zeljkoopalic5994 Not anymore, but the custom of tipping servers started during prohibition when the mafia would run illegal speakeasies and serve liquor. And since people had already been doing it, they were just used to it. And that was back in the 90s!
When I was in high school, people would be like "Don't get anything on my shoes. They were $200." I just wonder why people would spend so much on shoes
So there are a few reasons one might spend $200+ on shoes that might not be obvious. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a little much to spend that kind of money on shoes you are wearing to high school but if you are a grown adult it’s not like your feet are getting any bigger. The only thing she does that could be considered as hurting anyone but herself (i'm not convinced it is with the size of that house tho) is living rent-free, which the grandmother is doing too. So the only thing she's doing that can be spun as hurting anyone else, the grandma has no right to complain about since she's in the same boat. basically, her family is just like "wah, she won't buy us expensive gifts or spend a fortune on one diner, that we won't even eat all of." My brother and I were forced to watch our youngest brother one summer because my mom and dad both worked. Mom promised us $200 each at the end of the summer. We never got it. There was always some excuse as to why they couldn’t afford it that week. Then the next week etc. Yet she had saved hundreds of dollars over the summer not having to pay for daycare. And we were both teenagers at the time, 15 and 16, so our friends were out doing things, and we had to stay home. I would daydream about what I was going to do with that money all summer! What a disappointment! 🙁

Yeah, that's really not cool.
I think most they can do, is just to get her out of the house, let her live by herself. Let her experience it all by herself. Not forcing her to do stuff just because.
Yeah but she is living rent free and refuses to gift her family anything and if she is helping pay any bills it's apparently well under 300 dollars a month.

OMFG this one made my day!! Had me dying laughing at that "stretch-poo" part.....I was like wtf lol

At first i was on the family's side by the end of the video her family is worse than she is
Nah. She has no reason to leave all of the providing for her children to her family. You think her kids wouldn't be living off of the same bland minute rice? That grandma is keeping the babies fed, housed and clothed.
The absolute least she can do is start spending to take care of her needs (and maybe stop stealing from the people supporting her then returning the stolen property "as a gift".)
If this is doesn't spur her into taking part in the family affairs it at least forced her to pay grandma back 200 of the tens of thousands that grandma is provinding every year.

@@eNodeTG "20% tip and tax" are restaurants run by mafia in the USA?
It's not bad especially considering one of them got a t-bone steak
@@zeljkoopalic5994 Not anymore, but the custom of tipping servers started during prohibition when the mafia would run illegal speakeasies and serve liquor. The whole thing was to bribe someone to hook you up. After prohibition was lifted, businesses kept the practice of tipping your server so THEY wouldn't have to pay them a livable wage. And since people had already been doing it, they were just used to it. Nowadays, businesses have to pay servers/bartenders SOMETHING, but the minimum wage for those jobs is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the minimum wage for literally every other job in the country, because they assume you'll make your money in tips. Exactly. That didn't fix the issue at all, they should've made her start paying rent instead.
But there were, I think, 4 people at the restaurant. Places that serve T-bone steaks are probably pretty expensive. @@Kimmyfuzzygogglepage .... Have you never heard of Jordans or Yeezy's?
So there are a few reasons one might spend $200+ on shoes that might not be obvious. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a little much to spend that kind of money on shoes you are wearing to high school but if you are a grown adult it’s not like your feet are getting any bigger. I buy “expensive” shoes because I walk everywhere and even mid range shoes (Aldo, Steve Madden) will fall apart in 6 months. If I buy a nice pair of boots I can wear them for years and they are more comfortable.

You keep ragging on her family when she literally lives off them for free. You know damn well they've bought her dinner a hundred times.
I like how people keep thinking the girl lives in Grandma's house but don't bother to learn that the grandma is just as much of a leech in reality
I would have walked out and been like "I didn't order anything but the free water and use of the microwave." I'd have given the waiter a tip and just left. I'd tell them that if they don't have money on them then I can go grab one of their wallets but that's it. I may not be as cheap as she is, but what they did was steal from her. The only thing she does that could be considered as hurting anyone but herself (i'm not convinced it is with the size of that house tho) is living rent-free, which the grandmother is doing too. So the only thing she's doing that can be spun as hurting anyone else, the grandma has no right to complain about since she's in the same boat. basically, her family is just like "wah, she won't buy us expensive gifts or spend a fortune on one diner, that we won't even eat all of." Those same family members would be spouting sh*t like "it's the thought that counts" and "Christmas isn't about gifts" if they were unable or unwilling to get her expensive gifts and she expected them too. In the end, it's her money and she can do with it as she pleases, or do nothing with it at all if that's what she wants to do. I love watching Ken and Dane in these videos because, unlike those disgusting comments they read from that video, they stop at making fun of and giving advice to the people in the videos, they don't call them evil for not wanting to splurge their savings away.
I suppose you'd always get something you needed for Christmas if someone stole that thing from you!
