for me the biggest problem was the marketing, they said it was an empire campaign but you leave the empire really early on and the empire was evil just to be evil, why kill your own loyal people.
It was to weed out those the Emperor didn’t see as worthy to succeed the Empire, as well as to distract the New Republic as imperial ships were wiped from records and secretly shipped to the unknown regions along with Imperial leaders that were seen as the most loyal and worthy to continue the empire. They would go on to build the First Order and the Sith Eternal

There’s way less bs in the flying missions. I beat the game on the hardest difficulty, and died way, way more during the on foot sections. It’s not like the challenge was fun and rewarding either. The absolute worst mission was the Han Solo one, I remember his special abilities were absolute garbage and having to hear that obnoxious NPC repeat his lines far more times than I would liked
I'm surprised that we don't see Imperial Messenger droids more often in Star Wars media. It's probably one of the coolest things to come out of this campaign.

That's Matt Mercer playing Luke, of Critical Role fame. They really should have used him for the body work in the deepfake to keep it consistent. He has about the right proportions, hence the mocap in this game looking pretty good
I don’t hate the campaign but I wish they had done war stories like with BF1 and BFV where you could play a story from each faction and see their perspectives on famous Star Wars battles
I wish you stayed on the empires side for longer they were some of my favourite missions. However I do still enjoy playing through the story every so often.
I loved the first part of the campaign and I enjoyed it very much. I hate resurrection however cause it only has like 3 or 4 levels and feels more like some weird thing to pull people back to the game. I wish they made it longer tbh
There was an unholy amount of cut content from the campaign of BF2. Like, look at the trailer. Than the game. I’m shocked they didn’t get sued for false advertisement.
The ad campaign of "Play and work for the Empire" was the sole reason I pre-ordered the game. But to find out they said "Fuck it" and has us turn traitor, really pissed me off. Only reason I kept playing it is because a friend and I played the hell out of the multiplayer.
