Parasyte was a great manga from late 80's & early 90's.
Parasyte did well sales during its time.
It remained only a manga up until 2014 when it finally got an anime which turned out great.
Parasyte anime because of the multiple decade gap between the Manga & the anime it made modernise changes from the manga like mobile phones + earphones, computers.
The Anime was very popular and had 2 live action movies off the back of it.
There now is this Korean spin off of Parasyte being written + directed by the man who did Korean movie classic Train to Busan.
