- Weddings can be SO expensive! We challenged ourselves to transform items from the thrift store into some seriously budget friendly wedding decor items! From an old picture frame we made a hand caligraphy'd seating chart, and from a half broken candle holder, we made a gorgeous envelope box!

I can't believe how AMAZING that envelope holder is! You could not have found anything better - and you got it from the thrift store without breaking the bank. You both have an excellent eye for pieces that are ready for a second life. Also, the font on the seating chart came out so well. You did an awesome job - It's even better than a stencil because your personal touches are there. Yay!

OH OH! you guys should do a video on "how to thrift" DIY...like what is your process when planning and going to the thrift store? Any tips when actually getting to the thrift store of what to stay clear of etc.? I would love to go thrifting and then revamp something but I have no idea where to start.
I love this idea! I thrift a lot but I sometimes get overwhelmed trying to strike a balance between buying for a project (which sometimes means I'm looking for something too specific), or just buying something that I think might be cool if I fixed it up (which sometimes means ending up with something I never fix). I'd love to see their perspective on it!

Have you two thought of doing a DIY starter kit video? Like an overview of the basics one would need to start DIY-ing more regularly? I'm trying to get more into crafting and DIY but get a little overwhelmed deciding what I should invest in (glue gun, tools, etc.) and figuring out what I should skip.

When/if I get married I want to DIY a lot too. With friends, spending fun weekends with together and DIY it al together. I really like the enveloppe box!! I want to make that too, but then in a forest team with acorns and stuff :D
