Imagine other villains teaming up with the heroes during world-ending threats. Comparing to Eggman, why would those like Fang, Dr. Starline, and Mimic even bother saving the world?
Its like with Time Eater. The battle sucks, but when someone replaced that 'generic epic track' with the Crush 40/Cash Cash version of Sonic Boom, it somehow looked and felt better to play. Thats what End of All Things does here.
I won't deny that "The End of All Things" slaps, but to say the original theme was generic and comparing it to the Time Eater's theme that got reused every time it appeared is a garbage take. "I'm With You" is literally a song built around the encounter, starting small with an air of hope and designed to escalate as The End's attacks do to show that for all its boasting, _it's getting nervous_ because its losing the war of attrition. And attrition is the key phrase. The fight is tense, but not INtense. And thus "The End of All Things" just doesn't work with it. Its meant for a more theoretically active battle using Super Sonic's base controls rather than Sage's Ikaruga mechanics.

You could update the mod by placing the Instrumental version the first minutes and then go to the vowels (so that Sonic's message is not ruined) Also change the music of the cinematic to make the ending more consistent... Although with Update 3 we will have to see how it will change
@@unknownboi2447 it's a writer's fallacy. And he is not the only one writing the full game. If the end was lying, then why is it not scared that it's about to die. And it's not that they forgot to give it emotions, you can tell it felt mad it itself for being sealed away by the ancients. Hell, even dark gaia put up a barrier against supersonic because it knew it could hurt it despite it having anti-chaos energy. And it took help in both endings to defeat the end. I'm not one to usually go against the writers choices. But there are too many contradictions in the game to what Ian Flynn said. not only that but when the ancients sealed it, it was shown to not have a physical form so how can the kill it. Plus, they can change their mind like 🫰. And the only way to really know is the next title which is meant to be built off this engine and if they keep the Cyloop then sonic might be fighting something similar to the end.
I’m gonna be honest, I personally don’t think it sounds fitting, but that’s because when I listen to the song, I think of a Titan fight. Now if The End was a boss like that, I would most likely think it fits. This is my opinion and if you think differently, that is okay
This is a good mod, but me personally I think “I’m with you” fits the fight better. I feel like “I’m with you” really feels like this is the end of a journey, and a representation of how hard everyone’s fighting and the result is a bittersweet end, but still peaceful. This song just gives me edge lord that’s fitting for the shadow the hedgehog game lol. Still a great song and great mod tho. Sidebar this would definitely be a song most appropriate to the goat Scourge lol.
This song should have played during the actual final battle of Frontiers. This new song made this boss battle MUCH BETTER!! Thank you for the gameplay and LongestSoloEver for this badass song!!
