For everyone in the comments asking why he talks like an adult, it's because he's spoken to like an adult. If you babytalk your child, they will develop language skills slower. If you talk to them in a normal tone, with normal words, they learn how to speak quicker.

In my Careers with Children ROP class I took during my senior year of high school, before going into our non-paid internships at after-school programs in various preschools, we were told to talk to the children normally without any "baby talk" because not doing so broadens the child's language skills and it sets a better example for them when it comes to speaking their minds.
When I was working with my group of children, they were all ages 2-5 and after about a couple of months with working with them and talking to them like adults when it came to, let's say I helped them solve situations like setting up who's turn it is next to play with a ball, they were actually able to use the language they learned from me and their teachers to good use to solve their own problems with other children. They didn't have to rely on our help to solve who got the ball first, they were able to solve it on their own because of watching our example, and by listening to what we said. Children pick up on those types of things, it's a perfect example of "monkey see, monkey do".
Now that I'm a college student, I can only hope that they remembered those language skills (since most children start remembering things when they're about 4-5) and still use them today.
TLDR; I know from experience and I can say it's true.
