Hi! I'm interested in doing my first drag show as a drag king. I've never bought myself makeup before. And I was wondering, for the foundation and powder stuff do you want them to be the same shade as your skin tone or maybe a shade or two lighter? And for the darker conture about how many shades darker should someone go??
It depends on the look you want but aim for getting the powder and foundation as close to your skin tone as possible and for the contour don't be too crazy with how dark you go. You want to be kinda a tan skeleton but it should also be believeable from a distance
Can a Drag King be a "straight" female.?? Someone who likes men, someone who likes to dress like a boy but wants to date a male & be a Drag King. 🤷♀️ I don't know, that's why I am asking.
I just think this isnt really a tutorial? You just show how you do this but dont really explain a whole lot. When I try to do this I miserably fail bc 1 I cant do make-up for shit and 2 bc I personally feel like it isnt explained well enough
I don't use makeup rather than for drag so I know that you can do it. You want to darken the space around your eyes, color in your brows, darken the sides of your nose and lighten the top of your nose and the hardest part is darkening your cheek bones the best advice I can give to get the cheekbone lines right is to look at a picture of a skeleton and make the dark part of the skeleton dark on your face. I like to go from the spot where the top of my ear connects to my face and an inch from my mouth
@@SunflowerKidAugust yeah I am already bad at contour itself so trying to follow this was pretty hard for me. Mayor thanks for explaining it in the comments tho.
At first I was like wow she’s so pretty then I was like wow he’s so handsome! I’m amazed
I freaking love how well you pronounce your words. Lol!
I rly want to try it for myself mostly, or go out in public nonchalantly to try it out ☺️
There are drag Kings that just take mass transit to their show in their whole look if it's done well people won't even question you

Yeah of course anyone can be a drag king you don't even have to be female to dress really masculine and preform
Why don't you all mention the items you use on the face??
I'm sorry but I made this video like three years ago, there are newer ones that are better
Holy fuck your beautiful like wtf
I dig this chick.
