What an amazing woman. Where is the dog? Did the dog and husband follow in the beginning and then they stayed behind? Where can I see the full documentary film?
so i'll be answering 4 years later haha, she is not married, and during this trip she decided to leave her dog at home in switzerland, because it was too much for him to handle the journey, unfortunately, he passed away while she was in the middle of her expedition, she got the news through a satellite phone while she was in the middle of nowheere, she had to keep going after that. i don't think there's a documentary she used to film short videos, and take a few pictures along the way, and for her arrival a camera crew and a helicopter was arranged to capture the moment, she wrote aa book called "wild by nature" i accidentally got it , read it and ooh boy what an amaizing book , so many emotions, i really felt that i was travelling with her at the same time, totally recommend reading it ! sheers
