I don't get the whole wheelie thing. I have been practicing for weeks but can only manage to keep it up with a ham-fisted approach, after I hit 5th I can no longer ham-fist it and it drops. Any good tips for using balance point wheelie method ?
On the green and black 690 what did you do to get rid of the orange frame parts? Did you have to take the whole thing down and powder cost it or is it easy to remove those parts without taking the whole bike apart?
im not very knowledgeable on the supermoto scene but, is the DRZsm as good as i have heard? there's gotta be other good bikes out there for starters....
I know some people on the forums around that height that do perfect with it. They get a step seat with lowers it about an inch or more along with a lowering link sometimes. Pretty cheep things that will lower it quite a few inches. If you like the bike or any other, dont let that hold you back from buying it.
I was thinking about buying a project dirt bike due to expense, i think i have enough knowledge of motorbikes to rebuild a broken one but would you recommend just waiting and saving to get a more expensive but better bike?
Really depends on what you like to ride... more than often you find yourself riding one bike more than the other... but sure, if you can have multiple bikes, why not right?
I see those nice finger clutches, or is it brakes? I tried to find a nice setup for my brakes on a top lever, but it was hard for me to find on the net. I have had no luck. anybody point me in the right direction? I bought one kit that seemed to have promise but never ended up working out for me.
