Is it possible to save the material defined in Ansys WB to a location of our choice on the hard disk so that previous records are not lost when the hard disk is formatted?

Yes it is possible. U can export the engineering data and save it in .xml format. Later u can import it to different workbench project.

Whenever u click on any component on tree (for example- any geometry part, contact, mesh), the detail window will come automatically..
