My stupid baby dragon turbo deck got dunked by this deck a while ago. Bro tanked a baby using a god. Duels in a nutshell: 1)Branded Despia Tearlaments - Perfect Obelisk OTK setup. 2)Dark Magicians - Yugi vs Kaiba. Another perfect hand enabling Obelisk OTK. Poor DM's got dunked. 3)Kashtira - Kash being outgrinded by an Obelisk deck. Get punished. 4)Dark Magicians - DM trying to play around Maxx C 2x, Impossible Challenge. They also dont have a virtual way to negate those Spells/Traps to even stop it. 5)Blackwings - Finally, an opponent who actually knows how to play. Blackwings. Though a bit questionable to summon Arc Rebellion on turn 1 nothing to negate on the opposite side so it just dies from Fleur in T2. Bruh. Playmaker fudged lethal but thank god they whiffed their Allure of Darkness draw. 6)Sword Soul Yang Zing Kash? - Kash? Sword Soul and Yang Zing? Is his Extra Deck even gonna go somewhere with this? The fact he did not end on any Rank 7 tells alot of his extra deck being synchro heavy. Though its so sad Playmaker kept tripping the guy everytime he summons a Tuner, making his Synchro deck even more obselete. The final straw was Alba Zoa sending his Synchro monsters to the GY. Bro got his dreams shattered. 7)Tearlamenting his loss/Tearlament Synchros - Zoa send lots of Synchro monsters. His Ze Amin dies before even he gets started. Scoops as his only combo starter died. 8)Obelisk Generaider Labrynth - Who is the fastest to pull the Obelisk OTK? The game. Bro fitted all his fav archtype in his deck and it works.
These Egyptian God support cards should've been written on the text of each god card they supported. Yes, it will be a short story long, and you'll need a magnifying glass to read it's text, and will make the respective god card be extremely broken, but they are the god cards and there are none like them.
@@theclosecall4095Believe me or not but the Ishizu cards are Obelisks support. They send many cards from the deck to the GY and you can clearly see that Obelisk support cards gains advantages by being in the GY. If you mix the deck to gy enginge from Ishizu with Obelisk cards you easily can FTK your opponent. Also it makes sense the first owner of Obelisk was Ishizu.
dogmatika's natural extra deck destruction really powers up this specific combo. right now I only tech 2 breaking ruin god because my strategy isn't really a showcase.
Too bad only the God cards are in the God card pack. Why can't they put all the relevant God card support in that pack? Until then, I can't run the same deck due to how limited in scope Obelisk is outside of something like Numeron.
Sometimes I prefer using it during the main phase when he's about to summon something, it's not like I haven't used it during the DP in other duels lol. They're just different choices I make and I do know the risks I'm taking

Just a matter of fact, every Quick Effect in the game (except those that requires to be activated during a specific Phase or condition) can be activated outside a chain if you toggle on (in another word, toggle on allows you to respond to every game action like normal summon, special summon, activate effect…, including your own actions). For example, after you opponent special summon a monster, if they decided not to use their quick effect or ignition effect on summon, or if they resolved all their effect and have no other response, you are allowed to activate I:P Masquerena during the Main Phase, an option you would only get during the End of Main Phase or during a chain if your toggle is auto.

Please Maxx "C" draw phase. What if your opponent have Triple Tactics Talent, or they summon Kash Unicorn.
