Doug been watching your program since the beginning .Thanks for bringing the truth. Like you I have no faith in McDaniel and Grier. Doug you can't win with a loosing hand. No leadership in this organization.
I would like to see Tua wear the guardian cap and the collar. It would be a really good test to see if it can make a difference, at least in concussion prone player
The guardian cap is designed to protect against direct impacts to the skull, typically those sustained by people who lead with their head - RBs and D generally. Tuas concussions have all come from whiplash impacts where his neck bends and his head moves rapidly. Its not what guardian caps were designed to help above and beyond the rated helmet he already wears. Also, you cant prove a negative. If he never sustains another concussion it wouldnt prove anything.😢
@benfloydy maybe not prove but definitely would be a positive outcome. Achane is wearing it. It will be interesting to see if more players start wearing them
@@Barneyfithlawman Yeah it needs a much larger sample over a long time, but as I say its not really designed to address the kind of impacts Tua suffered concussions from. I think they make sense for RBs particularly and players who take repeated head shots in a game. Other positions I'm not so convinced about, especially QBs.
Problem is, we are just designed for finesse ball. That is the GM‘s fault. McDaniel refuses to change up his offense, which is designed for finesse running and deep Ball passing. We need to open up more routes in the middle and dink and dunk for a while until teams decide they have to go back to a base defense. we can’t do that because we need to keep our tight ends in block. The GM did not keep our two outstanding lineman due to salary cap issues of wanting to overpay our wide receivers. During the Arizona game there were tons of real estate over the middle medium rangeof routes that could not be run because we kept the tight ends into block.
Browns also let their OC start calling plays now instead of Stefanski. They go and beat the ravens with Jameis Winston. Idk how Miami can see that and at least consider a change in play calling. McDaniel has shown he can script the first 10-20 plays no problem and then he becomes clueless in the second half.
I watched the fumbled snap that led to the safety over and over again and I have no idea how you said it should be blamed 50/50 on Tua and our center. It hit Tua in both hands Doug. It was too high, too fast, too anything. Tua gets paid $55 mill to catch those snaps and the idiot already came out and threw the center under the bus while also blaming himself. Coward! That was all on Tua.
he didnt throw the center under the bus get out of here he literally took the blame and im not surprised you think its all tua smh. it would be awesome to have an unbias football chat with you one day but i dont think that will ever come
@@DouglieDoWrong If Tua gave Moe a cake as a gift, he'd immediately call it a small and weak cake that wasnt ever going to taste any good. Then he'd eat it, and we wouldnt hear anything else at all from Moe until he pooped, and then he'd give his opinion of the poop, and say it was a bad cake.
This season reminds me of the Cam Cameron era except worse, we have decent talent, and it's still a disaster. McDaniels & Grier are pretenders, not contenders.
It's very uneven talent. We are stacked at RB we have 2 great wrs, after that, I don't think anyone is above avg on the offense. I don't think the defense has single good unit besides DT, which is a 38 year old player and now a hurt guy. We play good short yardage run defense. After that I don't think we really do anything at a good level.
Tua said hes to blame and so is the center. Go read what Tua said. I professional QB making $55 mill should be a man and blame himself when the ball hits him in both hands. Im sorry we dont agree about Tua and his skills but honestly i think im more right about him than you. Im also right about our overrated D and tried warning you to quit pumping them up since they played decently against pure garbage QB's. I was also right about McFailure but you simply dont see the game as i do. I know good football and this team aint it.
You just always predict failure regardless, and hope you're proved right. Its not a skill, particularly with the Dolphins management. You went awol for long periods last season when the team was doing well because you had absolutely nothing to offer when the team was doing well. You crave failure, for some reason. Week one, you said in stream chat that Trevor Lawrence was "a real QB". Just before he threw the game away. Hows that one working out for you this year? Prove me wrong, say something positive about the team you claim to support without prompting once in a while.
Well, it doesn't change the fact that I've been right about Tua, McFailure, Chop, Jaelen Phillips, our backup QB's, management...etc. What do I like? Wright, Achane, I liked Brooks over Mostert for this season and the Fins are fools for letting him go. I was never silent during our win streak last 2 seasons and kept pounding rhe table that we beat losers and typically fail against winners. In fact, ask Doug if 2 seasons ago at 8-3 going into the Niners game what I wrote and almost bet him. I told him we would only win 1 more game and lose to the Niners, Chargers, Packers and Bills and we'd either beat the Jets or NE in our last 2 games but not both. I was exactly right and Tua lost the last 4 games against winners before he had yet another concussion. I was right once again. I wish to God I was wrong but I see clearly this teams weaknesses. Fins won't come close to another Super Bowl for at least the next 5 years with Tua. McFailure or McStupid, take your pick, isn't a good coach, as I've been saying but no one would listen to me. Now people, friends and family members believe me. You should too.
doug we gonna hold you to that bills vs dolphins statement lol
We do not need wide receivers we need OFFENSIVE LINEMEN HELLLOOOOOO

I have no faith in CHRIS GRIER Mike McDaniels I still think he can change if he gets a little nudge from the right leadership

It should be noted that wr is such a replaceable position that teams are readily trading them. No other position is even close.
My 9 picks are Bills, Texans, Saints, Commanders, Chargers, Titans, Cowboys, Bengals, Ravens, Bears, Eagles, Seahawks, Packers, Vikings, and Chiefs.
Maybe I'm being a little biased because I'm doing well this year lol, but how about an update on the pick' ems league?
Being a dolphins fan you picked against my team Doug! How dare you lol

Yep this is why I said we weren’t even legit contenders last year despite our record.
Well said
6:40 Holden you to it.
Doug, if the dolphins win, you should do 100 push-ups
If i could without physically hurting myself I would lol
I would be upset 😆 🤣
In a row???
@@WGB3019 he could split them up. I do 50 at a time but he could do 10 at a time

Doug what if we get belichick? Would you want that I mean what better way to pass Don Shula then to coach the dolphins the same team!
Doug, last season the Bills did lose to the Broncos a week after we dropped 70 on them...
Doug I just found out Tyreek Hill is going to be traded to the Houston Texans is that true
not at all who ya hear that from

So why did we quit throwing to Tyreek Hill?????????
Tn let Malik QB go to Green Bay and I think he helped them win a couple of games
