I know the Daniel Lee from Louisiana and that was the only reason I checked out this video....lol. He's one of the most amazing talents I've ever had the pleasure to know. You should check him and his music out. Superfish Illumination
@celticmuse44 I mean country sells...and promotion is important but if it was a hit sound then touring (combined with youtube) would spread it a la Dave Matthews Band or the Chili Peppers. My guess is that she looks too manly which may be subconsciously off-putting to people and/or there is just something about the song/lyrics that doesn't grab people. That's what it really comes down to in the end, I think. For me, I think it totally sounds good but it just doesn't...move me?
@jonapc123 Wow you sure are grumpy! If you're gonna put yourself on youtube you have to accept that people might say that you're manly looking. That's what it means to be a professional entertainer. People are going to judge you. Sarah Borges may be a perfectly nice person and if I'd met her in real life I'd probably never tell her that she was manly looking. But we were discussing why we thought this video wasn't more popular, and that's my opinion on the matter. America is a tough audience.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I know what feminine is. Maybe you're confused about what "girly girls" look like. Because they usually don't look like tall, gangly, bra-less, low-voiced electric guitar strummers.
@ThePinkDaises Low slung electric guitar, tenor voice, no bra, cocky, masculine swagger, towering over the bassist....not that i don't find her appealing, but she isn't girly/feminine like, say, Stevie Nicks or maybe Norah Jones. And shallow Americans (like me) like their chicks to be feminine.
why isn't this song a hit? why doesn't this song have a gazillion plays? where's the justice???
I'm not a huge "country" fan but I loved this song the first time I heard it. I'd never heard of Sarah Borges until I saw them on PBS. Great band...
I can't believe she hasn't become more mainstream. What a voice
Sound is VERY GOOD! LOVE Sarah Borges!
That's some good singing !!!
I was at water fest in Oshkosh a few days ago they were amazing! Very talented

i like their rock material but i think they shine on the country songs.
@turoniner I think she's adorable and isn't manly-looking at all. What a weird thing to say.
Love this band. Sam Phillips woulda been all over them.
maybe you are confused about what feminine is?.she looks and sounds very feminine to me and trust me I like girly girls.a lot!
@jonapc123 Also, if this WAS a hit sound, then yes her looks wouldn't matter nearly as much.
@emdub123 There is something people seem to not dig about rock chick guitar players....
She looks like Sarah Silverman.

Shallow is you, no doubt about it.
