    It's very clear that anything related to modular builsings and castle is a big win.
    The Lego store and the construction site have one of the largest price increases.

      True, unfortunately the Parisian Street doesn’t fit with the normal modular layout without modifications.

    Thabk you for the details! There were a lot of sets i didnt even know existed. I plan to buy a few this round, but i am most excited aboyt the October wave. The winners just look more impressive

      No problem! If you want to dive even deeper on fan created sets that LEGO has made, you should check out the AFOL Designer Program that started in 2018, it was kind of a test run before the BrickLink program. There are quite a few sets not many people have seen from that program!

    Also, you mentioned shipping insurance and signature receipt. I’m curious at what point you feels it’s best to add these services to your orders?

    • @BrickDomain
      @BrickDomain  7 місяців тому +1

      I personally haven’t done it much with my orders since I generally stay under $200 for my sets, but for very large orders of $300+, it may be a good idea to add some extra protection. Depends on how much risk you’re willing to take

    I am wondering if the mountain fortress will really increase in price and how much. 30.000 sets is a lot and many of the buyers got 2 exactly for the purpose of selling 1.

    • @BrickDomain
      @BrickDomain  7 місяців тому

      Time will tell! It’s an expensive set to begin with, so it does limit the % profit you could make on it after shipping and fees

    On average, what is the production run for an exclusive set? Say, a Target or Walmart exclusive?

    • @BrickDomain
      @BrickDomain  7 місяців тому

      Unfortunately we don’t know the number of units LEGO produces of each set. There are some people out there that estimate LEGO makes a couple hundred thousand units, depending on the set

    I didn't know these sets existed.
    My wife bought a fure truck set with Boone signature on it.
    No number. I thought it was private built set , not official lego.?

      Is it the Antique Fire Engine? That’s from the first line of BrickLink sets made, called the AFOL Designer Program. It’s a very valuable set!

      @TheBrickDynasty yes.
      Numbered 1,330 out of 2500?
      She paid 250 about a year ago?
      Also we bought the train shop, old western store.
      Thanks for opening us up to these new sets.

    Brian - great job on this! And great timing as I’ve also been marinating on these as an investment. After seeing fan reactions and reviewing the sets, I might dabble in this for the first time and try my luck investing in the Old Train Shed. I’ll purchase a few of the others for personal collection (Mountain Fortress is 🔥), but the Sheds compatibility with current train themes, I feel, makes it a winner. We’ll see!

      Best of luck! I ended up deviating from my plan and purchased 2 of the General Store. Anything western has a great track record and seeing it linger this long makes be believe it wasn’t bought up a ton by investors. Time will tell!

    Great video. We will be buying all of them x 2. I even believe they ship from the warehouse over here in Belgium, about 20 km from where we live. 🙂 That General Store looks awesome. Snack Shack too. Parisian Street is another favorite!

    I will buy the sets I like each round. And if there is VERY nice one, I will buy two. See if there’s a winner in it later on. Not loosing money on ‘m anyway. See what happens… Must add I do feel its easier to make money with just Brickheadz

    The Ca Ca po set is a representation of a protected Bird in newzealand that we Are trying to save. It's an endangered flightless owl parrot. numbers are apparently improving cause of the efforts of the department of conservation and others and the eradication of predators I guess or maybe they are teaching them to run faster and fight. Poke your tongue out and say Park e ha (Maori language) you need to say it like you have Mana and Play Rugby like and all black team player doing the Haka however the thing is that Lego did not write the name down properly so that set basically has a spelling mistake on it with none of those little whatsamicallits on top of the letters for pronunciation..... you did well tho given what you had:)

    I forgot about the release and stumbled upon it last night. Fortress was sold out by the time I looked. I think that will be a big winner. The Shack ($49.99) was almost sold out so I grabbed two of them (now sold out) and then two of the Train Shed ($229.99) which is close to selling out this morning. I may build one of each or hold/sell both if they shoot up in price in after market. Train Shed looks very cool!

    • @BrickDomain

      The fortress sold out within a few hours! It will be interesting to see which set performs the best

    I'm going to get the Train Shed and the General Store since they involve two classic Lego themes of Trains and Western.
    I don't like that the Parisian set is dollhouse style and not a modular. That's why I'm avoiding that one.

    • @BrickDomain
      @BrickDomain  8 місяців тому

      Ah yes, I was going to mention that I do like that the General Store is one of the few western sets we’ve gotten in recent history. LEGO really needs to bring back that theme, I remember investing in the Lone Ranger theme and those took off in value just because people wanted western sets.

      After day one of the Crowdfunding release, it is obvious that Parisian is, indeed, the least popular. Less than half still of the maximum.

    i am going to buy at least one of each except the parisian street, personally dont like dollhouse style and most dont. But might end up by 2x of train and castle, still debating. Definitely 2x of the shack and western though because not too high priced and will go up eventually a good amount i think
