Thank you again Jim for sharing your sensitivity to the smallest details and largest view of the beauty of the earth you live in. It’s a gift to us whose ancestors were forced from those lands and scattered to the four corners of the earth. Timeless beauty is still there, thank you!
Thanks so much. I'm always moved by the history of those clearance villages. When you see the ruined homes at places like Arienas you wonder how it must have felt for the people who were evicted.
A wee santer around Loch Areinas is just the best recuperation. Morvern is a very special place, empty, old and ancient just waiting to come alive again. Bit more of MaCaig again seems apt, ... 'for this landscape is masterless and intractable in any terms that are human. It is docile only to the weather - wind, water and frost.' Another gem of a video, thank you.
Thanks for watching. I loved that shimmering light too. I wasn't sure if I had put in too many shots of it but I decided it was so beautiful it deserved to be lingered upon.
The mountains are so very special...but after being up them, its always good to be among trees again, i find. We just need for those trees to be further up the hill, so you can be among the two at the same time. Lovely peaceful film, and, thanks...

Thanks Jonny. Some more beautiful lines from McCaig there. He understood landscape.
Very soothing - a tonic for my soul. I loved the shimmering light upon the tree.

Thanks Steve. And your music was perfect for it. Yes, it would be great to see the woodland recover to its natural range.
