First Thank You For The Education.. Please Talk About Any Fragrances You Would Like To Talk About. I Would Love To Learn More About Vintage Fragrances..Love Your Passion For Fragrances.. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾..
Love that video, please of course vintage, so many new fragances coming and going. Classics stay for ever and people need to learn about those masterpieces
I smelled Ma Bête in the perfume shop and was mesmerized! I ended up getting Green Spell because I'm just in a "green" mood this spring. Loved the video. 🙂
Hi Sam. Thank you for your video, as I was surprised that you would mention one of my all - time favorites. That fragrance is Hermes’ Caleche’. My best friend was gifted this fragrance by her boyfriend at College in the late 80’s. I vowed that I would someday buy this scent, so in the mid 2000’s, I bought a bottle of Caleche’ , that is Divine in my opinion. Please bring more vintage scents. our way..Thank you and take Care, Dawn
I trust your opinions more than just about anyone else's because you never sound like you're selling anything and you obviously have a sophisticated knowledge and understanding of fragrances.
You dear Sam are the creme de la creme and my official portal to the new and the unique as seen via your universe. Your videos are constantly time well spent.
Oh man, I love those Guerlain lipsticks with the mirrors, reminds me of when nightclubs were a thing 😂. Your favorites always speak to my soul, and I'm looking forward to that Rosendo Mateu house overview. I've definitely seen a lot of the No.4 being talked about, but not enough of the others. 🧡
More vintage stuff would be great! As for lilac fragrances, I can't really think of any other than Puredistance Opardu (non-indolic white floral bouquet with a distinct lilac, it's spring-like and airy/clean, but quite persistent) and Roja Dove Lilac (although it's probably a little too expensive for what it is. Also notsure whether it's actually been discontinued or not, but the discovery atomizers still seem to be in stock). Also, thanks for reminding me 24 Faubourg exists! Can never seem to get around to hunting for a vintage bottle.
Love that you took note of Passage d'Enfer, Rite of Passage - as if you didn't know ;) One of the first "niches" I ever purchased, along with Green Irish Tweed, and both remain on my favorites list to this day albeit for different reasons. There's nothing quite like "Passage" and I wear it for no one but myself. Its spiritual ethereal nature takes meditation to a far, far away place and time as if an ancient vehicle to a long lost world of at-one-ness. Thank you again for shining that refreshing light of yours on a fragrance community you only serve to brighten with your enlightening videos.
A lilac scent I recommend: Comme des Garcons 2011 EDP, Lilac in the middle notes, Industrial glue and Brown scotch tape in the base. Oh to shop in London again, the unlimited choices. Miller HArris currently has a sale but shipping to me: USA and Canada (5-10 working days) - £90
So happy that you mentionned Calèche I have it in "Soie de Parfum". This perfume is as old as I am and it was my mother's perfume for years. I love Hermès fragrances too. I bought to Kelly Calèche EDT and EDP, and I have to learn to love it, I find the smell quite sharp because of the vétiver, I'm not use to. If you love leather, you should try " The Lover's Tale" by Francesca Bianchi, for me it's the summum of animalic leather. And I understand what you say about horses, I love their smell too. Thank you for your videos I love their style and your honesty, you're quite impressive.
Thank you for sharing! I made a list to sample (as always) to grow my colllecgion for summer 😃😎 I love when you say „what my soul has wanted to wear” ❤️ How accurate and beautiful ! 😃 this resonates with me very much. Indeed, the perfumes are costumes of soul need for expression. Just like we put on the outfits that match our need to express our personlaity and moods, a soul needs the right scent to express itself…and its mood. Lovely 🌹 Xoxo
Opardu by Puredistance opens with the best lilac note that I have experienced. I own Under My Skin and love it. It is a cool weather scent for me. The animalic quality is there but I also get a whiff of gingerbread. I tested Ma Bete twice. I enjoyed the first wearing and disliked it on the second. Love your videos Sam.
Full support for vintage and classic parfums!!! Please share with us. I have Bal à Versailles (your review) and it is an immediate temporal change of scenery. I also wear it before 🛌
That lipstick packaging is everything Sam I’ve watched this video last night and now realized I didn’t post my comment 🙈 very curious about Murmure Chypre the bottle is reminiscent to Nobile ones
Love your videos. You always have unique picks. Frederic Malle is an anomaly. I like everything thing I've tried from the house with a couple exceptions, but don't feel compelled to purchase any. Maybe I haven't found the one yet. There are still a few from the house I haven't tried. I would enjoy hearing more about your vintage collection.
Thank you for a great video and the set of rarer perfumes! I love your passion for perfume. About lilacs: Puredistance Opardu is really beautiful. Of vintages Patou´s Vacances would be a must try but it is naturally a bit hard to get. In vintages you might find also other interesting ones since lilac was so popular note in first decades of 20th c.
Loved your video. Your reviews help me choose my own fragrances. If you could, please do a more in-depth review of: Bois Datchaï, Murmure Chypré, Ma Bête, En Passant, Chevalier de la nuit, Noix de Tubereuse, and Passange D'enfer. Thank you!
Today I am testing Dua Mobster Aoud, Franck Olivier Oud Touch (not new for me); started the day with Bath and Bodyworks Saltwater Breeze, Eau du Sud and Alexandria Zion. Yes... life is fast, must hurry and spray.
You clearly discovered rosendo mateu a long time ago, that’s quite a dent you made! I am very curious about the no 5 and no 6, would love a review. I’m waiting for my decant to arrive to see what all the hype is about.
@@MyWorldofFragrance When you do, please let us know what you think about the similarities between RM No 5 and More than words by Xerjoff (if any - maybe it's just me!)
Omg i grew up riding too! I feel like i always vibe well with ‘horsey people’ too lol, my best friend is one... i have a good leathery frag for you i doubt you’ve smelled... when i make a vid ill share bc ive been meaning to 😘 🏇🏻
Nice picks! What shade is your Guerlain lip stick?Kinda looks coral , pretty. I've tried Passage D'Enfer and En Passant and like them both. I really want a new incense perfume that I can wear in the summer heat. Will check out your favs!
I don't know whether to thank you or to be mad at you, lol! The debate is: you've introduced me to 2 new fragrances that, now, i must have BUT, outside of a skanky oud and a good almond, I was done! Now i have to add yours to my list! Lol. Seriously, as always, great job! Oh, and by the way, the two are: - Chevalier de la Nuit by Ciro - Ma Bete by Eris Thanks!
I love Ma Bête!! I have only sampled it but I really liked it. I am a person who disliked Francesca Bianchi fragrances unfortunately. Maybe I should give my sample set another try.. Did you try the Lilac Path from Aerin? I haven’t tried it but I know of it. And I do own Lilac Love- do you not like that one?
Since designerfragrances are easy to find, i am really interested on how you always find the various niche perfumes you represent on your videos. Are all of them blind buys via internet or do you go to niche perfumerys?
I'm lucky to have great perfumeries here in London, but otherwise I buy lots of samples online and test things I am curious about before I buy. 🌹Xo Sam
Hi, after listening to your review I became really curious to try Passage d’Enfer from L’Artisan Parfumeur. Sadly, they don’t seem to ship to Sweden where I live and I haven’t been able to find a retailer online who carries this fragrance and ships over here. Do you have any tip how I can get to try this fragrance? Many thanks in advance!
Loved this, yes to more vintages please (especially Guerlain) ❤️❤️
Thanks darling, noted! 🌹Xo Sam
Pacifica has a beautiful photorealistic lilac scent. French Lilac got me through quarantine 👌
Ah, thank you! I must try it. 🌹Xo Sam
Yes, I am here for the vintage finds!

Love that video, please of course vintage, so many new fragances coming and going. Classics stay for ever and people need to learn about those masterpieces
My favorite Malle is Angeliques Souls La Pluie. Since you like bold, green fragrances you should try it out.
I knew your faves video would be spectacular. Does not disappoint!
YES YES more vintage finds!!
I smelled Ma Bête in the perfume shop and was mesmerized! I ended up getting Green Spell because I'm just in a "green" mood this spring. Loved the video. 🙂

I love hearing about vintages though it is frustrating not to be able to smell them without going to great lengths. Keep them coming though!
Love your reviews always. It’s so amazing how I’m always learning something new. A lot of people just recycle alll the same popular lists
Hi Sam, can you please do a buying guide on Atkinson fragrances? Binge watching your videos 🥰
Great list , going to make a new budget for perfumes
Re your question about realistic lilac perfumes, try Eutopie No.11. It is slightly gourmand (toffee), but mostly realistic, gorgeous lilac.
Hell that Guerlain lipstick looks so cool I might just start wearing lipstick 💄 🤷♂️🤣
P.s ohh definitely more vintage finds, definitely 🙏
For lilac Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo. It has more "body" than En Passant. It does smell somewhat vintage.
I trust your opinions more than just about anyone else's because you never sound like you're selling anything and you obviously have a sophisticated knowledge and understanding of fragrances.
Lilac Path by Aerin is a very realistic lilac scent, that I quite enjoy :)
Thank you for another great video!

I love your description of fragrance 🥰

I agree. I’m a horse rider and love the smell of a saddle and reins
I want to hear about your vintage finds!
❤ I am totally addicted to noix de tuberose!! Also one of those I wear just for me. I have been told it's old woman smelling 🤔🤓 Terrific reviews!
A lilac scent I recommend: Comme des Garcons 2011 EDP, Lilac in the middle notes, Industrial glue and Brown scotch tape in the base.

Oh yes, I've heard that too! Thanks so much 🌹Xo Sam

We have similar tastes. I love hearing other smokey, woodsy animalic, leathery recs from another woman
Fantastic video as ever, that really was a huge mix, smelling good but different everyday. Super animalic jasmine does sounds good 😍

That Ma Bête is crazy 🙈 in Salome territory. Risky indeed. I want to smell someone in the wild wearing either of these. I can’t imagine.

Hola, Sam, buenas tardes. Me encanta tu cabello y peinados.
I love vintage
How does Guerlain makeup hold up to the other more well-known brands (at least in the US) like MAC, Makeup For Ever, Nars etc? -Chris
There is something really hot about leather. ❤🔥
Thankyou x
