Those who chose not to watch this thinking it's boring because it's about two men doing ballet are seriously missing out. This is THE most beautiful drama I have ever watched. It teaches you about so many things. It makes you feel so many emotions. It makes you cry buckets but also hugs you like a warm blanket. I'm so glad I'm one of those who saw the beauty in this drama and appreciate it. I truly enjoyed all 12 episodes with my face covered in tears every time. Thank you for this heartwarming drama.

I did cry buckets of tears but I didn't get the warm blanket. It was just sad, emotional, sad, dramatic, sad, emotional, sad, you kinda start to fear that your old relatives will get the disease, you fear for yourself, then it's sad, dramatic, sad, emotional and then you are like "Of, it's 3 am, I am a mess, I hate Korean dramas" XD
@Fyfhfr 1088 Erm...I don't think I mentioned anything about BL between any two guys in this drama. Tbh, I don't even know which "two young handsome guys" you're referring to. BL didn't even cross my mind when I started watching this. This was all about friendship between a young and old person.
When I mentioned "two men doing ballet", I was implying how some people may have prejudice against men doing ballet, just like what we saw in the drama, and people might think this drama isn't interesting due to the plot and choose not to watch it.
With all due respect, I think you're the one misinterpreting my comment and making accusations.
@@viktoria8189 :(( this was a drama that seriously hit close to home and I understand how you feel. As I felt the same too. My grandma has Alzheimer's too but luckily it's not as serious as Mr. Sim. Seeing Mr. Sim going through that really broke me. But what warmed my heart, was seeing how his wife stood by him all the time and was so supportive of him. And how his family actually loves him a lot despite being against his decision in the beginning. But I have to agree I felt sad, emotional, sad, worried, and emotional more than the times I felt joy watching this though. Lolol even when it was a happy scene I found myself in tears sometimes because it was so moving.

The fact that Song Kang learned ballet before filming this drama shows that he is ever willing to give full commitment and am so proud of him.
Even tho it’s normal for actors to learn something for their main role he did a great job and really made it look like he has been doing it for a really long time really impressive

I started Navillera because of Song Kang from Sweet Home, but I watched the entire drama because of its heartwarming, sincere, touching and so very human stories. I loved this show. I loved all the stories. I loved the acting. I loved the humanity of it all. Bravo.
As an ex ballet dancer, seeing Song Kang’s dedication to try and embody a dancer was really incredible. This scene showed off how hard he must have worked, so proud! Such a touching kdrama
Was basically a bawling mess before and after this performance, and throughout the entire episode. This was so beautiful. Watching this now still gives me goosebumps.

I found It's Okay To Not Be Okay was also a very very good kdrama to watch. Once again all the feels, and hard to get over because it hit so hard

I put Navillera on my play list "to watch later!" Then one night I finally decided to watch it. I was moved to tears, first time I watched it's depiction of a beautiful relationship of "teacher & student." But in reality, the student became the teacher. I cried again the 2nd time I watched it, and the 3rd time. At this point, I'm going to stop counting & just enjoy these two masterful actors make our hearts move, & our spirits raise watching the maturation of Cheok Rok, (Song Kang), and the victory of Mr Sim. I highly recommend Navillera to young or mature audiences.🦋🦋🦋
Song Kang studied and learned ballet 6 months prior to shooting this show~ indeed a beautiful kdrama! Love this so much!

Still not over that this ended in 12 episodes. We didnt even see chaerok soar 😪 i wish there was a scene where haraboji gets to see his biggest performance. Anyways, love this show so much
I didn't even saw Chae-roks body here... 😊 Apparently, in the webtoon, Chae-rok likes to dance half-naked, too bad they can't do it in the drama.

Park In-Hwan was here in the best characterization his has ever made in his entire career and that with 76 years. Is worth an OSCAR. 👏 👏 🤗 👑
Considering how prejudiced Korea is as society and how low their classical cultural level and understanding is this was very courageous of him taking this role. BRAVO...!!
The same goes for Song Kang; who trained for many months to become a good ballet dancer as Lee Chae-rok.
The most interesting thing about this Korean Drama is its lack on romance... because there are really non at all... letting us concentrate on the deeps of this story; leaving out any superficial feelings. It is the love of following out hearts in doing and becoming who we want to be what this drama is about... and is a huge tribute to the millions and millions of people who have been unable to do so due to their personal lives circumstances. The strong will on pursuing our dreams might seem banal as a central issue... but is what matters the most, if we want to live a happy life, and feel proud of ourselves.

(I'm Canadian) I loved watching this brilliant drama and their acting was impressive especially Song Kang, In-hwan Park, and Moon-hee Na. The relationship that grew between Shima and Lee Chae Rok, and their family and friends were so heartwarming. The duet blew me away because I've never seen quite like this in any movies! The ending in the last episode was very heartful. Hats off to everyone who made Navillera!
I really want to appreciate the old man how he portrayed his character so well , and also to Song Kang for choosing such a diverse role.
Please don’t sleep on this drama . It’s literally in my favorite too 3 . Just the will to want to dance . He loves it and chae rok so much that he never forgot . This is one thing that always comes back to his mind . Absolutely beautiful well done

I really love this korean dràma from the start to the end especially the last episode. How many times I cried. The value of strong family ties. Forgiving, sharing and how their weaknesses serve as their strenght. I love Song Kang and MR. Sim. Their acting is amazing.

So shocked and impressed by Song Kang's performances. Good Lord, I can only imagine the amount of rigorous training he had to undergo to make the dancing believable. From an untrained eye, he seemed incredible!

I cried way too much while watching Navillera. It's very touching and the actors did an amazing job. The bond between Chae-rok and Deok-Chul was really sweet. Loved it. And I'm really impressed with Song Kang's ballet skills. Everyone should just watch this series, this isn't just about two men doing ballet. It's about family, friendship, passion.. It's one of the best drama series i've watched.

One day I will find the courage to watch this series. I lost my grandmother in August, and she was very dear to me. Seeing the relationship between the two main characters hits too close to home. I wish I had 5 more minutes with my grandma to talk to her about her dreams she wished she had achieved like grandpa Sim in this drama.
