Just ordered one of these for myself and a rad expand 5 for my wife. I have a 1981 Honda CT110 Motorcycle but my wife doesnt like motorcycles so its something I use on my own. Using these we can experience the woods on two wheels together. Plus, no need to drive into town anymore!
@AlShams69 good. I've gotten it up to 35mph with no issues but have not pushed past that. The range is great, I usually ride on pedal assist 2 and have never come close to low battery and I ride for well over 2 hours at a time. Sometimes 4. It's been a great bike I don't think you can do better for the money. I've had it since Halloween and put 115 miles on it. So that's my opinion thus far
@AlShams69 idk, where I live these things are everywhere. Maybe it's just certain brands? I really don't know. I don't think it replaces a motorcycle, I didn't get rid of mine just because I have an ebike, I'd definitely fix a moto up either way
I got a Senada Lynx about 2 months ago. Much less assembly required than the Archon. But my delivery box had the same punched hole in the side!! The bike is fantastic. It's a low boy with fat tires but it goes 20+ mph with me on and I weigh a LOT. The frame and the tires and the motor are first rate. Some of the other pieces, such as front deraillure are cheaply made. It didn't come with mirrors or turn signals (which are both inexpensive and easy to come by). But I have great fun riding this electric bike. I look forward to it pretty much every day. I believe the major elements of this bike are VERY well made and will last for many years.
the newer ones are upgraded and fixed the speed monitor. they also put in a feature where you can twist a knob around the grib and run only on electric. it doesnt go that fast on pure electric but enough to get you started on the bike if you have issues getting on it like myself.
Got this exact bike about a month ago. Love it! He’s right though, it’s a big heavy powerful bike. If you’re less than 6 ft I would not recommend. I got a bike speedo app for my phone and a mount for it to get around the speedometer not registering unless the motor is engaged. This thing easily gets over 25mph on throttle only when the battery is fully charged. Be sure to change the settings on the LCD display to change the max speed. It’s defaulted to 20mph on some.

So now I'm just wondering if I increase the size of my crankset to get my cadence back to around 80-90, maybe I can get this thing up to around 40 mph, what are your thoughts?

How is your climbing power. I have ridden other ebikes. And with no pedaling, I was able to climb many inclines, without pedaling. This bike I had high expectations, but it lacks the power I hoped it would have. What is your experience with climbing hills, or steep inclines? Thanks!
Website says the bike is 57 pounds with battery compared to some others I've seen around 72 pounds. Does that seem accurate? Also, is the lcd screen backlit for night time?

Do you think this bike could tow me (6’1 220lbs) and my gear across the frozen lake as I go from spot to spot? I could get studded tires if needed… And a additional battery if range becomes a issue because of extra weight and the cold… Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks
The motor is pretty strong, that's quite a bit of weight but I feel it could probably handle it. You might want to consider a dual motor bike, front and rear hub motors. Good luck!
That’s alot of weight for a hub motor. I wouldn’t expect it to last forever under hess as by towing. Get a mid drive so you can utilize the gearing. I pulled my full size pickup truck with my 1000watt bafang mid drive mountain bike

It's great on logging/fire dirt roads, a bit heavy for steep downhill singletrack. Overall for light trails it's great but not as nimble as a regular mountain bike.
I just got my archon it's slow don't believe these claims mine does 24mph top speed and struggles up hills for 1000 watts its pretty anemic. No where near what's claimed and customer service Is a nitemare

I'm 5'8" and I don't have any trouble at all riding it.
Mos def going to give Rad Rovers a run for there money at a price point hundreds less.

I never use just motor only, always use some level of PAS
i feel like if you didnt have the seat what looks like all the way up you would feel less like you need to be tall to use it

Haven't weighed the bike but seems about right as I can pick it up. LCD is backlit and easy to read.

The rack came with the bike but there are lot's of aftermarket racks that fit fat tire ebikes.
I would like to have seen the power it has with the throttle only not pedal assist 😢
Very responsive throttle, has a cruise control function, got up to 34 MPH on flat ground

did you hold in the power button on the lcd display (looks like an "M")? that's how you turn it on after turning the key.

wait so when you stop pedaling and only use the motor it reads the speed and when you only use pedal assist it won't read the speed?
When the motor is engaged it reads the speed, if you are coasting, say downhill or the motor is not engaged then there is no speed reading
