You guys are super biased. I mean it can be clearly seen that Yumna doesn't know how to conduct herself in interviews. She is not polished in that aspect. The question's wording could have been improved but it wasn't wrong.
People should choose their roles responsibly and not pin everything on the writer.
Mahira has much more grace than any other actress in the industry right now. Yumna needs to learn a thing or two.
Also the two of you need to stop worshipping stars and be unbiased for a change.

Actually I agree. though I dont link Mahira Khan that much but she does have a lot of grace. I always asked myself if Mahira is overhyped because in my opinion she is an okayish actor but maybe her conduct and grace is what sets her apart. These things also matter a lot after all.

If people can bash male actors for doing toxic roles then why they cannot question female actors for doing illogical character? I don’t think the man who questioned Yumna did any mistake. Meerub was an immature, stubborn character. And please don’t say Meerub ke sath yeh hua, vo hua, 99% problems of her life occurred because of her own mistakes.
That's mistake was story. People can do mistake and learn from them. In meerub character I don't see anything wrong the girl who stranded by loving parents and lost her previous life she would be grudge full to anyone. That's was basic story line. That why she choose the role.

What happened to Meerub initially was unfair and injustice. She was forced to live a life that she hated…lost the love and support of the others she thought were her real parents and felt betrayed when they turned their back and allowed her to be forced into a marriage! So it’s no surprise for a young girl to react the she did if they are thrown in that crazy situation…the part that I found a little far from reality was when she refused to go to her adopted parents and instead put herself in a vulnerable and dangerous situation. I don’t think any sane person would put themselves in harm’s way. That part didn’t not make sense to me and I felt was a weak point in the plot. 🤷🏻♀️
Sorry but it ain't about the stupidity of question, a celebrity of yumna's stature is correctly supposed to be present minded and capable of replying the audience promptly. On the premier of gentlemen when amna asked about her definition of gentleman she got nothing to say, Amna didn't asked her about the project's definition of gentleman. 🙄

Yumna's response was so stupid. Meerab's character was poorly written and yes yumna didnt write it but chose to play it. That man was not wrong to ask a question and you guys didnt need to attack him. Maybe he didnt word it properly and the "khudsar" part was wrong but dont pretend like you werent questioning whether Meerab's character makes sense or not either, go watch your old reviews. The drama's success and views have nothing to do with that nor can they change it.

I am sorry but I have observed this,yumna is a very good actress,but she's not a good person to interview,she doesn't talk sense most of the time, it's a very "banawati" way of talking,and she has 100 bouts in middle of the conversation to praise herself all the time... There are times I think she doesn't understand the question, and just sorta answers whatever she interpreted the question to be. But just look at the range of journalists she possibly encounters. From Amna and Maliha, to those local network journalists, like in Mazaaq raats..etc..I think I'd be pretty confused too.

I don't agree with Amna that Actors aren't accountable for their characters. They have chosen it to play. Then why won't they defend it? I love Yumna too. But Amna and Hasan don't need to defend her like that. And her answer was also not apt. But she wasn't rude.
Actors are not responsible for their characters because they are acting, it doesnt mean that they are promoting the behavior of the character they are playing. The writer should write the story in a way that doesnt glorify the negative trait of a character but just show it that this kind of negative trait exists. If actors were supposed to be held accountable than no one should play the character of a serial killer, drug dealer or rapist

But actors can defend characters by saying why they decided to play the character and why they're different from others. Playing a negative shade isn't wrong and that can be defended as well. Because the actor tried to show a skill playing that character. I think She could've answered in this way. That's why I said actors are also accountable for the characters.

Actors do get famous for serials which can be absolutely absurd as well...Yumna is one of the finest actresses that we have but at the same time the role that she played in Tere bin was not something impactful or some lesson for the audience but she still got a lot of fame for that...another very popular example is Danish Taimboor in all his dramas the roles that he plays are so toxic but still he gets so much popularity for them...Our actors need to realize their moral responsibility as well and choose roles wisely.
Yumna speaking about terebin reminded of Sandeep vanga defending his crap movies success has got into her head and i wish someone grilled wahaj aswell his carecter was badder than her actors, directors are some where responsible of what thay show with popularity comes moral responsibility

I am surprised how easy become content maker in UA-cam about reviewing their drama and acting.what is the qualifications and skills of Hasan and Amna.Hasan without studying journalism he is journalist,and Amna she claimed herself as fashion expert though she is commenting every actress appearance,never look herself how she look.. Pakistan is the only country where people are making money talking and reviewing their own drama.
Yumna has been asked 100 qs about TB and Meerub, it's okay if a few of her responses are not as per our liking...I appreciate her patience and ability to face the crowd and ofcourse her acting...
Tere bin has been a huge hit for Pakistan drama industry. The chemistry in their acting was phenomenal and viewers have strongly demanded a season 2 of tere bin

I’m so surprised at all the commenters who are bashing Yumna for not being coherent enough , relevant enough and sounding fake. For me , she has gained more respect because clearly she has a comprehension issue ( which some functional individuals have, including my daughter) it takes them double the effort to understand and analyze a questions hence making coherent conversation a tough task ( it’s mentally exhausting) still she agrees tO giving interviews , appear in public platforms for her audience which makes her a strong individual in my eyes. Please be tolerant, not everyone has the same capacity of conducting coherent, deep and meaningful conversations, for some people it doesn’t come easy. We are too quick to criticize 😢
I absolutely agree with you. Anyone familiar with her journey knows she came into this line because of her passion and talent for the work. Her earlier work especially speaks volumes on her acting talent. But being an actress these days requires one to be media savvy, interact with a multitude of people, be "stylish" and give numerous interviews. Rather than shying away from all this (like many actors n actresses actually do), Yumna always takes the challenges head on, which is admirable. It's not her Forte, but I have so much respect for her for not shying away.

Yes, I agree. Everyone is human. Sometimes at the spur of the moment you can say something without thinking or something you really do not mean. These days everyone has become a judge, due to social media. At times Haute Bites and Munshi emaan look like two gossiping ladies of mohalla, “is ne ya kaha os ne woh kyon kaha”. Bhai chour do, humay kia. 😂Unimportant, non serious issues are included just to make a video.
I have that problem. I am not a fast thinker, and don't always come up with the best response right away, so I can relate to Yumna. I am glad that Yumna was not rude or arrogant in her answer. She did the best she could without being offensive .

Hassan and Aamna if Yumna wasn't supposed to defend her character then please stop asking the same questions to other actors in your interviews. Like Hassan asked Mahira 'to defend' HKKST. You guys completely misunderstood "defending character". It's not defending the action of that character, it's defending her choice to play that character. And she should be asked such questions because she mentioned on many platforms that we need to make good content. So this hypocrisy should be questioned

Not sure about Pakistan, but here in the US the fan has a switch on it. You’re supposed to turn the direction to counterclockwise for the summer and then clockwise for the winter because of the way it circulates air. Try it!

It’s actually economical as well - counterclockwise in the summer allows the fan blades to push the cooler air down, which creates a cool breeze (potentially lowering the AC setting)…..and clockwise in the winter will pull up any cool air and send the warmer air that rises towards the top of the room down, making the room feel warmer (at a low setting, saves on heating)! 😊

Weather in the Rocky Mountain region of the US - really pleasant weather here highs in 20-25 degree Celsius and lows in 7-10 degree Celsius! Still waiting for summer here. We live at at 5000 ft elevation and can go up higher on the days when it gets hot. Can drive 15 mins and the temp can drop to have a pleasant day in the mountains/canyons so we are very lucky!

Weather have become very unpredictable. all over the world, it is not going as per the prediction of the weathermen. UK is also having unpredictable weather. Spring started in April but, we experienced a cold and rainy weather till the first week of May.
