Hi Alex ! Just wanted to say that you are one of my favorite DJ. In 2007 at the Dour festival (Belgium), I passed by the stage where some weird DJ with a green mask was playing LOUD music. I got surprised by the fact that he made the dancefloor on fire with only an old school phone as headset. It was Dr Lektroluv >Boys Noize. Starting to purchased albums and trying to follow you as much as I could when you were around in Belgium. I can't remember how many festivals or Nightclubs I've seen you performed... But I have to say THANK YOU to Stefaan Vandenberghe alias T-Quest A.K.A Dr Lektroluv to be the Boss of the electronic music in Belgium. With him, we can actually discover AN INCREDIBLY LARGE AMOUNT of artists. Thanks Alex to be one the best, one who makes the electronic music something that it's still gets its ''underground'' way and not commercial. Thanks to make music for passion, for us, for a better world of music. Hope the best for you ! PS: We have seen each other the day you performed at FUSE nightclub in Brussels in 2010. These kind of stories are amazing! For me it almost was the same, getting to know so many great artists by listening to livesets of Dr Lektroluv, 2manydjs, Justice, SebastiAn, Crookers etc. That was some time, remember playing those I Love Techno livesets over and over. Then I also listened to Boys Noize's set of that night and from there on I was all in. I have never heard of a dj so diverse, so educated, humble, technnically perfect but also playful and with so much energy. And most importantly nowadays: He never compromised his vision or his sound. Straight on doing what he loves. When I saw Boys Noize live he started out with 'The Bay' by metronomy and ended the set with the most filthy bangers, I mean who can pull that of like that? Was that that night at Fuse where there is also this crazy video from on youtube? Where he plays Kontakt Me remixed? Alwas looooved that video Anyways you are so spot on with your story, amen tot that. Cheers man
