O'Keefe seems like Hogwarts for musically inclined children.
Michael Fournier that’s it! I was looking for an apt discription for these kids. This is it!
The best child music school I have ever seen, love them so much I would donate but I am not Rich
Guitar player is very humble, he killed that damn thing. Fantastic version by everyone
It was quite the honor to participate in this project with the O'Keefe Music Foundation along with these incredibly talented musicians! Anna has an amazing voice!!!
This group is always nothing short of awesome. I consider myself lucky to live in the area; I'm always looking to see what is new and what they are up to; even the ones who have grown and gone on. Anyways, I'm happy you collaborated with OMF. For those not aware, this young rockstar I'm replying to is the very awesome guitarist doing that masterful solo. Look up his name in UA-cam. As always, all of you have left me awestruck and jealous. Good job. Keep this up, please.
Aidan Fisher bro i hate to say it but you did a little better then adam jones.
Fantastic guitar work.
Agreed she does have an amazing voice but sadly this is not the song for her. This song is a message being sent to the government about how idiotic they are being about a "drug" as they call it being illegal even though it has no harmful side effects. Where in most songs she would kill it I am sure this song she almost makes the message not as clear as it should be presented. We are talking about people being fined hundreds of dollars in tickets or even sent to jail for something that is much less harmful than Alcohol or even cigarettes. Peoples lives being ruined just because fat cats want to hold laws to a standard of when biased opinions were treated as facts. Beyond that small "gripe" they did an amazing job would love to hear more and more from them all.
Who's on guitar?? That kids going places, he can jam!
DAAAAAAAAANG thats HARD! bad ass rock and roll!
that guitar player SHREDS!! Your lead vocals are amazing and the DRUMMER IS ON FIRE!! Your all amazing!
Are you effin kidding me! Bad azzzz the voice, the bass, the drums, the axe, the piano…..what a pleasure!
her voice is so smooth and confident and she did an AMAZING job singing this her own way!
listen to her version of "cry little sister" its very well suited to her vocal range
The vocalist has a great voice. So many incredibly talented young musicians. The guitarist was stunning
Slayed that guitar solo. Great work.
Seriously, that was awesome.
that age i cant even do Come as you are right
Does anyone have tabs for this fucking solo??. It's fantastic
Too bad they botched the lyrics bad. The entire intro is missing and she sings "Foot in mouth and head up in the clouds" when the lyrics are "Foot in mouth and head up asshole."
+ cld1472
If u listened to all 5 versions of this song you'd hear they all changed the lyrics to make the cover less offensive or family friendly.
My guy on the drums was getting it, he and the bass player locked in really well
These young Adults nailed it. they should be very proud of themselves it. 10/10. Well Done. The Guitar solo rocking with the Drums was just wow. really made me think of my favourite songs and make me realise how I miss getting my groove on. and the female singer has a killer voice.
I can appreciate how O'keefe slowly went from covers to reimaginings.
5 yrs later and this is still one of my favorites for sure!!
Her voice is rich. I don't know how to describe it.
Sultry...she is young but sings like a woman.
Incredible!
And the Guitarist is off the hook.
As a Rocker for 48 years and have seen Tool...
These youngsters are playing at a professional level.
My friends and fellow Rockers...Rock is alive and well.
Thank you Mr. O'Keefe!
I will agree she has a lovely voice but she is almost trying to show off her voice in this song. Normally showing off your voice is a good thing to do in music but in this song it is more about the message being said rather than how well you can pitch change mid word. Do not get me wrong in a song where that is a thing expected she would crush it but in this song it almost drains the message that MJK was trying to get across.
SOULFULLY
voice is twiked
Kinda reminds me of Fiona Apple's voice octave singing Criminal.
These kids are a big hope for Rock music's future.
Holy crap! Was that real? Those kids are f-ing amazing! All of them. I expected to be like "that's cute, some kids coving The Pot" but that was beautiful.
The absolute best vocals for this song, this girl is amazing!
I've listened to all 5 covers every day this week trying to figure out which version I like the best. I don't think it's possible to judge because they are all unique and great in their own different way. I do think overall musically and how aggressive the music feels, this one is my favorite. BUT I like them all so much! I also really like Anna's voice. Her vocals are warm yet have a tone quality that really fits what the music is saying. OVERALL this is great! I've never been a huge tool fan but I love ALL the O'Keefe kids tool covers, they are a go to listen almost on a daily basis when at work.
LOVE this version of it....love that soulful voice. Amazing guitarist n drummer.
Thank you O'keefe for going back to the kids playing being the focus!
'Foot in mouth and head up in the clouds...' First thought - WTF? But then I remebered... kids ;)
Does not matter if it is kids. They could have changed it to something that would have made more sense if "ass" is too offensive to have a child say. "Foot in mouth and head up anus whatcha talking bout?" For example would have fit the tempo of the song and is a word children should be allowed to say.
just enjoy the music Jesus Christ...
@schindler91589 yeah, somehow "spit" makes the whole line feel even dirtier.
No one else notice 'Condoleezz', instead of 'ganja pol-ease? Genius..
At first I thought I’ve been singing the lyrics wrong for the last 10 plus years
I picked this as my favorite as well. They all killed it in this song. And that guitar work...damn.
This is my favourite version!
I want to hear this singer do a cover of Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Sheppard.
Kid on the guitar shredded that solo to bits. 👌
That voice is awesome. Drummer is very on point. Guitar solo is fantastic. Might be my favorite version.
Anna got a helluva set of pipes! I wish that Kala's version was heavier, angrier; she could have given Anna a run for her money. Great drummer, sounds like he's on a larger set than a 5 piece. The guitarist is great, very accurate, tears it up. Bassists don't get a lot of recognition, and she was in a tight groove here. My favorite of the 5, with number three in a tight second based on the guitarist.
Agree
This project is hopefully the musical savior for future generations. I'm thankful you all exist.
These kids at this school always crush the stuff they do.
I DO NOT have a favourite version! Y'all kids are AMAZING!!!!
Have to go with this one. Love Kala's vocals, as always, but this one reaches down and hammers you. Guitarist rocks, great rhythm section too.
OUTSTANDING !
Anna's vocals were Smokin' Hot and I'd love to hear anything else she's done or will do in the future! Charlotte laid down a tight groove with the drummer and Alivia's piano work was beautiful! The guys did their part to help these young ladies shine....
More of her here. www.seubtube.com/
Thank you
All five are brilliant, but I must vote for this one, because it is just... complete. It has everything, especially the vibe. Wow. Just Wow for all of these kids.
Absolutely smashed it
Dayum! Another masterpiece from the School of O'Keefe!
My favorite of the vocals of these versions, but all of them are so good and so talented!
exact reason why its called "MUSIC CITY"...take a bow everyone
Not really sure what you mean by this comment. I pretty sure o Keefe foundation is out of Cincinnati
Dude on guitar blew me away.
This vocals a grower...I'm liking it more every time
You kids kill it every time ... thank you A.okeefe thanks for keeping great music around for every generation !!!
Anna has an awesome strong voice.
That rumbling voice... plus that smile...
' Despacito ' has recently become the most watched video ever on youtube... Another shot to my faith in Humankind !!
The whole world is totally fucked up !!
Yet watching those 5 versions of this wonderful song gives me some hope... Not everything is lost...There's still a little light burning.
WOW. Just WOW.
Thank you for posting
Hey! Girl with the bass... Never put that bass down. You were born for this!
They are all great! Extraordinario!!! But I love the piano chords. They give the tracks a deep feel. Another color and path into this music
Damn that Girl has a VOICE! My Fav Version!
I honestly thought her voice was Autotuned when I first listened to this song. Then my wife (Who knows WAY more about this stuff than I do) assured me it's not. Mind = Blown!
What an amazing voice!
Don't know how guitarist keeps such a straight face! He's ripping the frets apart but looks like a lawyer.
This is excellent. Everyone did a great job. I am so pleased that O'Keefe Foundation has covered these songs so beautifully. This girl is going places with that voice. Love it!
I listened to all five versions and this one is my choice for number one. All are good, but Anna S vocals make the difference.
Exactly what I thought too. Anna is the factor that makes this one the best.
im in for it too ... Kala rocks the high notes , but Annas deeper voice fits very well here :)
I said the same thing the other girls voice while being very good is lacking the balls for lack of a better word just pull off this song or any tool songs you got to have more punch and growl then raspy I like her cover of pull me under that is her type of song
OMF cover on Pull Me Under featured Kala Rose (Scarpinski) on the vocals, not Ana
Yeah, that's what he said. He thinks that is more Kala's type of song and Anna has the better voice for Tool.
Wow! That voice! That percussion! That amazing guitarist! I am so grateful for an incredible cover of my favorite band!
Much impressed with the young lad in blue on on guitar. Excellent job!
Thanks!
Oh good, new stuff!
WOW !!! Just wow !!
Tight together and perfectly get this song. Bravo
I have to split my vote between this one and version 2. It's so cool to see OMF attracting established talent like Aidan Fisher to come and play with your kids; must be very inspiring for them. Great job by all involved here. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch this vocalist in the '52 Vincent Black Lightning video from a couple years ago. She did a great job on that, and her voice has only gotten stronger for this one.
Great to see a new crop of O'Keefe inspired talent. Great cover. Anna S. rocked the vocals and Aiden shredded the solo. Great stuff.
outstanding,fantastic,'WOW'.
Anna you have a tremendously soulful voice. Vincent black lightning was great. Keep working. You will go far in life. 3:16 goosebumps.
Anna S. has some serious chops. Way soulful. Highly talented young lady. Keep rockin' gang!
My favourite Tool song, each version has its own twist, full credit to everyone involved, they all rock!
She has a great voice.
...einfach nur DER Hammer!
Breathtaking!!!!
Her voice is RIDICULOUS!! I listened multiple times! She is going to make it! I'm calling it!
Aidan you're a Stunning Guitarist.
This one is totally sick too. Fantastic.
All 5 are good. This one I liked best.
Deadly guitar tone...and solo! Has Warren DiMartini all over it . How can the boy blaze such a ripping solo yet look so calm?!
Never thought that till you said something. Backed it up to the solo. Yep, very DiMartini like.
I am pretty laid back.
Love Kayla's voice, but really liking Anna's too. The fact that they did different versions is awesome!
Beautiful! Thank you!❤
My favorite version.... :)
Watched all the versions, oddly I watched this one last. Always save the best for last.
What a next generation tribute.
Wow!
Each one is beautiful
way to go kids!!!!!! awesome cover! goosebumps at the 2:25 change of tempo!

Although I may not be particularly fond of this version (I am a die-hard fan of Tool, only a tad bit biased as a result), the singer has a MIND BLOWING AMAZING voice. Holy Moly!!! The kid on the guitar BLOWS MY MIND. Thumbs Up for OMF. Five THOUSAND thumbs up for the KIDS, man! Well done! Anna, you rock, honey! Truly, you ROCK! You have BRIGHT future in the music biz. Looking forward to hearing your beautiful strong voice again in the near future!!!! #AnnaRocksTool !!!
Must be cold in that room with all those knit hats...lol!! Awesome is all I can say about all of these kids!!
they are all great, -really enjoyed the singers voice
That SINGER!!! WOW! The entire band! Exceptional.
I will put your playlists on while I drive my rig. I can't believe I am from Nashville. Awesome
Nice work everybody sounds really good together!!! Great music
Ok, very awesome cover!! Just as bad ass as the original, but with a twist, and I love it!!
This was a super close 2nd to me.... The musical ability in the room was crazy, the singer has some pipes too!
MatthewEE I must agree.... I'm trying to think of who she sounds like and its driving me bat shit crazy I can't 😣
yup..........straigth into my fav. playlist ...this is what music is all about.
What a voice!
Winner winner chicken dinner.. it's dope
I hope my grandkids learn to rock this hard!
Excellent. The rock/metal future is in good hands!
woaaaah this voice !!!! goose bumps !!!
YES! MORE OF THIS!!!
love the piano. those smooth piano chords are so pleasant in any genre. keys are way too underrated an instrument.
Like the move back to the "studio" look here. Definitely took some liberties with the original version, but hey...that's what Aaron has been about...making it yours. Great job ...now on to version 2. :) Keep doing what you're doing Aaron!
Damn that kid can shred. As always this is just fucking amazing.
Thanks!
The guitar solo... Great work!
