Kids music session. with Soquete

Capoeira music classes at kadara are always fun.
here is a simple call and response where I play the Sao Bento Grange de Angola rhythm in 4/4 timing.
first note is the first count .
Count: 1 2 3 4
Berimbau: Dom x x Dim Dom
Pandeiro: Thumb Tip Thumb Slap
Atabaque: Dum DuDum Dak
The way the kids are responding (Atabaque & Pandeiro) helps them to know where their 1 count is and also how to time their rhythm with the berimbau.
Try it yourself. the call and response is a great way to practice with other instruments once the individual instruments rhythms have been practiced.
