I think A Beautiful Lie is fairly rated and seen as a modern classic with singles like Attack, From Yesterday and The Kill. But their debut is clearly underrated, still have yet to come across a band that matches that level of phenomenal mystery and unique atmosphere. Still wish they could explore more of that sound.
Their debut is definitely underrated, A Beautiful Lie is a modern classic in alt rock so not sure what you mean by it being underrated. This Is War is a gem that gets overlooked imo. If I could get Jared going back to A Beautiful Lie and This Is War's styles I'd be happy.

It's sad that Christian artists literally receive less exposure and popularity for talking more about Christ. The most popular "Christian" rock outfits got popular off barely Christian records and its unfortunately because people just don't want to hear the sound if the message behind it makes them seethe. I'm so glad WatG don't compromise their mission to spread the Gospel and keep their lyrics centered on Jesus and the Gospel, even if it means they're always going to be underrated by the mass media or populace.

Initially, I thought the guitars should have been louder in the mix but once you listen to it 40 times you realize the vocals are the most vital in this song in particular. It's just so solid, makes you want to run through a wall.

This is fantastic! You guys out did the original version. I cant listen to the original version because the music video messed up my perception of it but this variant has made it to where I can enjoy the song. Well done.

Well the music video by the band/record label has nothing to do with the lyrics of the song itself. They litterally made it a s3xual r@pe type video. Not a fan of 30 seconds to Mars as a result. Before I heard of 30 seconds to mars I heard their song attack in an AMV I watched and really liked it. Then I was most disappointed when I found the music video. So yes. It feels like WATG took the original song, took out all of the garbage and made it something it was supposed to be. Everything about this cover is better than the original.
You've gotta go back and listen to songs like: "East to West", "The Bird and the Snake", "Flickering Flame", "A Voice in the Violence", and "Deadweight"

I feel it. Just FYI the hackers are attacking me to making me think that your band is attacking me. The problem is I've already seen this effect because they did that using my parents as well. The hackers goal is to confuse people into accusing one another so that whenever there's an investigation it comes up empty. I can say that I'm not the hacker, but I'd rather say that whenever I make the next things that I have to make I'm not attacking anybody but that hack, not even the hacker. Okay? Now that you mention it, I can totally imagine that working out. It would start off in this somber acoustic which they are so capable of. Then in the chorus Steve would pack out those passionate vocals. Nick screaming ALL I WANTED WAS YOU!!!!! would be the cherry on top. Woah such a nice idea :3
