What's wrong with Samsung? They completely destroyed the Always on Display! No brightness control, no option for changing clock style and color, etc.. Hope they fix it soon!

For quite a long time you've been able to either use one finger to drag down quick panel but using 2 fingers u can drag open the full quick settings panel screen, which is much simpler than trying to drag down from the right & getting it wrong

Nice video! I will say the notification bar works like this. Swipe down on the left = notifications. Swipe down from the right side = control panel
After the update, are the widgets on the Lock Screen (thru Wallpaper and Style) different from the widgets you can apply thru Good Lock?

The One UI 6.1 update took the "microphone" button for voice to text in the Samsung keyboard away. You might show how to get it back and where it ends up once you find the setting. It's in the "show keyboard in the navigation bar" under Samsung keyboard.
Yeah I ain't to crazy about this update especially where they put the microphone with it being in the spacebar or at the bottom left.

This update made it to the unlocked flip five and fold five ahead of schedule late Friday night! So far I like some of the changes.
For battery protection, in the sleep mode/routine, i have it enabled to maximum when the sleep schedule i set up kicks in, and when the mode is automatically disabled (when i told it to disable the mode from a schedule) it will recharge to 100% before i wake up!
The camera widget and easy quick settings access are already in one ui before the 6.1 update

they also took away some of the camera features like astrophotography mode and the night mode isn't as affective as before

Any idea how to get the gesture buttons to work like it did before the update? Swiping from the bottom right was much better to go back than from the right side of the screen.
I agree with you and the cancel button from the bottom. Now its very difficult to do it. Sometimes can get it from Bottom to top. Update sucks.

Im struggling with this update, i can no longer swipe up on the right to go back. I have to swipe left and it get in the way with apps and wont work

Did they change the navigation bar? I used to be able to swipe up from the bottom right-hand corner to go to the previous page. Now I have to swipe on the right side
This 6.1 update is the worst update Samsung has ever offered . All the display controls have been changed. My taskbar doesn't work the way it used to. Returning back to previous pages is now a hunt in search rather than just a simple movement like it has been for the last 5 Samsung Notes . I think it's a crock.
@sakitech I'm experiencing a technical issue with my Fold 5. When I enable the QuickStar feature through the Good Lock app, the quick access feature doesn't seem to function properly. However, once I disable QuickStar, the quick access feature works as expected. I'm wondering if you or anyone else has encountered a similar issue. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

I notice when you double press on the home screen you go to the lock screen. When I do that I turn off the screen. What do I need to do to double press tot he lock screen? Thanks.

Saki where is the microphone icon that used to be above my keyboard when texting. It disappeared with the update s d was replaced by the AI star looking icon. I use it when I'm driving to text.
The instant access function in pull down panel, already existed in UI 6.0

Thanks, I just try this new widget on lock screen, its ok. Anyway, insted of 2 swipes from top or new feature in one swipe, it was one swipe feature from before, swipe from top with 2 fingers simultaneously, and U got same result, full open in one swipe.

FOUND IT. They moved it to the bottom left of the bottom most part of the phone.

They messed up the sticker creator, I used to be able to select exactly what I wanted the sticker to be, now when I select the picture that I want to use for a sticker, it automatically selects and makes the sticker, no option to select only what I want, they really messed it up.
With this update 6.1 Ican't put my email adress on the bottom of the screen anymore but if i restart the phone it shows up. It just doesn't do it on the lock screen unless i restart the phone on my S23 ultra. Is there a fix?

Where is the hidden setting that allows voice input to record over bluetooth microphones?
I have a better trick for the quick panel without having to change or enable anything. You can get to the tools without having to pull down twice. The trick is that if you use both your index & middle finger at the same time when swiping down, it will open the full panel instead of having to swipe twice when using just one finger.
4:12 have you already forgotten? you can swipe down with 2 fingers to show the quick panel - that's already there even before OneUI.
Why not use that 20 percent .? Adaptive is the way to go or basic because you want that up and down on that battery
I want the colors back on the notications you receive instead of just being white, why did they remove it.

Excellent video! I downloaded the update UI 6.1, ensured all apps were updated, and ensured Live Transalte for the phone is enabled. No call assist button is present to use this feature
TMobile S23 ultra. Called Samsung, they said wait for a future update to enable. Is anyone with a TMobile S23 Ultra able to currently use live transate for phone calls without this future update?

I have the S23 plus and have NOT received the UI 6.1 update yet. When I check the update info on my phone it says it's up to date with the UI 6.0

On my s23 ultra 6.0 march battery Drain really fast . Now on 6.1 is really good

3gb + yes its big but for my s23ultra IT was good. Nice battery life top Performance no charging oder heating Problems nice AI Update

The quick panel swipe down is old af. I had that feature on my S10+
They removed my navigation bar and now its more difficult to navigate for me
Has anyone from Canada got Ui 6.1 for S23 ultra yet still waiting in BC. I guess Samsung decided that Canada will stick with smoke signals little bit longer.

Did they screw up the navigation again? I was able to fully hide that ugly thing and now I can't. Every single update it always just screws everything up...
With QuickStar (from Good Lock) it was already possible to had that option regarding the quick panel. In fact, it still gives more options:
Change the "length" of the area to swipe down, and even swipe from one side to the other.
For example:
- We can choose the % of the right side for accessing the full quick panel list;
-If we want, we can also choose for the right side to be the smaller quick panel list, and the left for the full quick panel list.
Is anyone else having trouble with the navigation bar? I use the gestures and it doesn't work right any more.

Yeah they really screwed it up.
I tried adding a battery widget on the Lock Screen of my S24 Ultra as shown in this video, but the notifications didn’t move down to make room for the widget. As a result, the battery widget is cluttered with notifications. In the video it worked well, so there is something broken on mine.
Same thing is happening to me
Turning off Lockstar fixed it for me

That camera widget should 1x1, this is to big.
