I heard this on 90.7 and was really impressed. I've only listened to them for like 2 weeks and they are already one of my favorite bands. from the meanings in their songs to the cool videos. Lord Huron are creating gems. They go with the flow and speak from the heart.

So I'm into EDM and rock, but was introduced to Lord Huron when "The Night We Met" was popularized by 13 Reasons Why. Not gonna lie, I hate the show, but I loved the song, and loved the style. I kind of forgot about this band for a while, until a coffee shop I regularly visit played it tonight. Immediately put it in my "Chill Pill" playlist and listened to it for hours. I love the story telling and absolutely everything about this song! Such a fun listen! May even try to go to a live show one of these days.

Listening to this music was a reawakening experience for me. I feel an appreciation for the distinctly classic sounding instruments with the recurrent deep strokes of something that I do not know but does remind me of most music in the 80's and 90's and the fairly simple yet playful lyrics. The music makes me nostalgic for a time I did not see, a time I was not born and a life I never lived. That effect was immediately apparent for me as soon as the opening chords hit.
For me it's feel like I'm walking through a city at night while snowing with a beer and looking at light and dark allyways just enjoying the moment alone
I just want the guys and gals who make up all that lord huron is to know my life would be so dull without your music I might have been dead long ago with out you..
