Holy sh…😮😮😮 Toxic relationship where I wasn’t treated right for 6 months and where the other person ended it 2 weeks ago “for good” according to her.. She texted last night to ask if we could talk. I’m so drained, gave so much and still hurt that I didn’t accept her request to “talk”. I asked if there was something she needed to say and she said “idk…I guess not”. Exactly. Left it at that. Your reading has me in complete tears. I can not survive 20 more years of abuses from my ex. Nor do I want an unhealthy "new recap" from the one person whom I thought was my friend yet showed himself to be an extension of my ex. (I learned he was an acquaintance of my abusive ex)... They were both gaslighting me, (rounding up cohorts to help) and blaming each other along the way for what they actually were doing to me. I blocked them both for my own self protection and self love. Please keep me in your prayers. This makes me want to hide my life. I can not trust any one any more.
The physical abuse left me crippled (leg), the emotional and psychological abuse left me crippled too. How can I keep this up? Everytime I self correct, they sabotage because the crippling forced me to have to turn to them both for assistance to survival needs. I have always been a survivor and very strong, but now feel like I am right where they want me- loathing myself for being weak of soul strength.
I went from being a helper to the needy to being needy--- I am in tears for it.
