That one Riff you've been practicing for weeks... And you still suck at it.

What are your thoughts on the guitar? Mine arrives tomorrow. Same color but went with the hardtail.

@@ianterrygaming Flawless. No set-up required, it's a good'ol metal machine, although it's heavier than what would've like (it feels a bit over 8 lb. But I don't have a scale to measure it). The perceive quality is really high, I don't think I would find any difference between the SL2MG and a custom shop one.
I'm more of an Ibanez guy, so I'm not really loving the neck profile, it feels more like a C shape than the D shape I like, it's also narrower than an Ibanez neck.
As for the sound... Well, EMGs sound about the same whether they're plugged to a plank or to a PRS Private Stock. I'm not a fan usually, but I bought this guitar to play 80-90's Thrash mostly, so it is a perfect fit. However As you can hear, that is not to say EMGs don't have any versatility (they do).
I'm going to be honest here, I got it for roughly 1,800 USD brand new, it was a pretty good deal, BUT I wouldn't buy it for full MSRP. For that price I would probably buy an Ibanez Prestige or maybe an E-II, not because they are better (I think they all are in the same league), but because it fits my preferences better.
Overall, the guitar is a total banger, I'm pretty sure you're going to have a blast playing it!
