love your reviews man , lets see if you can help me out here I am in two minds and not sure witch ones to get , the Nikon 7x35 or the Steiner Ultrasharp 10x30,KOWA 8X30 YF II Porro Prismen ,Bushnell I am looking for distance clarity and best lense ....without using a tripod .....and easy to carry around . thanks in advance
Cool, got the 16 x 50 EX Nikons a few days ago, let me know what are all the problems you have with it during the day, I'll let you know all of mines, I just want an honest take so I don't think I'm tripping.
Fantastic review! I am looking for something for Astronomy 1st and general purpose second. Do you have an opinion here? Also 12x50 over 10 x 50? I am leaning towards Nikon... Thanks!
Great review, sounds like the Pentax has slightly better optics, since I will be using them for astronomical observations I will go with the Pentax WP's
The Nikon AEX vs Pentax debate is a hot topic in sites like Cloudy Nights or de BBC Sky at Night. Pentaxes then to have a sharper, flater field but very narrow. Nikon tend to have a wider field in 10X or 12X, often the same as more expensive binoculars but less perfect. And the Pentax has the focus lock ideal for astronomy. if you are going to use a tripod. Got the AEX 10X50, and what the Pentax 20X60s and the AEX 7X35. They offer a lot for your Money and I have more expensive units like the Fujinon and Leicas. But for astronomy many of their features are overkill, as is the price.
@@ricardoernestosotobarrios9519 Hello there! I have a doubt. Is there any way to know for sure whether Nikon AEX have fully multicoated lenses or not? Because I checked out Nikon's official website and the product description doesn't mention the word "fully" unlike their more advanced Monarch series where they have explicitly stated "multilayer coatings on all lenses and prisms". But some other review websites describe the AEX's having FMC. Also, since you've used both Pentax WP (which houses FMC lenses for sure) and AEX, which one do you recommend in terms of even light transmission and image contrast?
@@Abhi-rd4me I havent used Pentax, because I never liked their FOV but I have used and own Fuji FMTRSX and Leica Trinovids. And yes, the AEX are NOT fully multicoated. The light transmission is oK but nothing special at 80% and at night when you point them at the Pink Moon, as I was doing tonight, ypu will get some ghosting reflections. Compared with Fully Multcoathed bins like the Fuji and the Leica, the latter has higher light transmiissiom and fewer reflections looking at the Moon. Actually I have found the lesse light transmission of the Nikon AEx to be a blessing for Urban Astronomy and fpr Moon. It makes the sjy darker than with the Fuji with their 96% klight transmission and the Leicas with their 90%. The upper end bins can be blinding on the Moon and give you gray and not black skues urban slies at night. The Nikon AEX might suffer under really dark skies or at day when they suffer the lack of coatings. The ,top end bins do have bighter and more constraisty sights during the day.
I have a selection for you if you wouldn't mind helping me. My main use is star gazing. But also want a pair for multi use. The choice is between: Pantax 12x50 vision 5.6° Nikon 7x 50 nikon action ex 6.4°
I want to purchase a spotting scope but have confusion about it which one should I buy?? Nikon monarch ED 82 fieldscope or Pentax PF ED 200 ?? Can you please make a detailed review for both the spotting scopes?? Pentax PF 100ED and Nikon monarch ED 82 fieldscope.
The 12x50 WP are nitrogen purged so they're fogproof and waterproof which the standard 12x50 are not. Also WP has 20 mm eye relief v. 11 mm. Just one downside is that the FoV is slightly reduced in WPs.
Great review, thanks very much for your time!..
Thanks for sharing, waiting for you review on nikon ex 16x50. I bought one recently

Happy Viewing! Great choice. Deep vibrant colors with the Pentax.

@@Abhi-rd4meAposte num Pentax. Vai poupar dinheiro. Alta qualidade. Pesquisa a série Pentax Júpiter. 😁😸🥸
16x50 without tripod? I love high contrast and vibrant contrast on Pentax
How is the pentax 10x50 sp, any clue?
I have a selection for you if you wouldn't mind helping me. My main use is star gazing. But also want a pair for multi use. The choice is between:
Pantax 12x50 vision 5.6°
Nikon 7x 50 nikon action ex 6.4°
So conflicted between Action 12x50 and 16x50 for planespotting. Brightness and Field of View VS. Eye Relief and Detail.

Thanks
Choice a211 10-22/50

Это никоновское собственное стекло EcoGlass. Примерно соответствует BAK-4. Стекло не содержит примесей свинца и других токсичных элементов.
whats the diffrence between the 12x50 WP AND 12x50 ??? its a big price difference between 12x50 and the 12x50W

De momento, ainda não consegui encontrar nenhum teste dos Pentax Júpiter. Para quando ??? 🤔🙄🧐🥸
PENTAX Júpiter. Muito boa qualidade, a baixo custo. 😁😸🥸
Pentax is much better
Not true.
