The town I grew up in had a nature conservation and we had a few zebras and they eventually started wondering into the town. My kids have memories of us trying to park at church one Sunday but couldn’t because the zebras had taken over the parking lot 😂😂

At the Creation Museum they have a zorse and a zonkey in their zoo. I had never thought about zebras being crossed with a horse or donkey before. They were so neat looking!

Watching this was so much fun! 😆 thank you for sharing!! I hope your zebra friends return. And how cool that Kelli’s favorite animal was always a zebra and she has been able to experience them as pets and in the wild 😄 God is so good!
The baboon fight though lol I’m glad they stopped!
Seeing this beautiful place and the animals is amazing…I can’t help but think of heaven being similar. But all will be perfect ❤

Kelli, you look so happy! I loved seeing the zebras and the amazingly beautiful scenery - wow! My dog, Humphrey, was very interested too. I have loved hearing all your tales about life in SA. Safe travels to you both.

Thanks Scott and Kelli! What a beautiful view...and we loved seeing the zebras in the wild, especially the curious little one, maybe was was teething on the bench. Ha. Zebra reminded me of our Jerusalem donkey friend at the orchid farm! He taught me not to be afraid to pat him on his snout when he raised his head on the fence post and looked up at me with those irresistible big brown eyes. So looking forward to the giraffes--a favorite. God bless you as you enjoy life together and share your adventures with others.

Wow, the countryside is gorgeous! In Texas our neighboring ranch used to have zebras but apparently they weren’t good at mothering ? IDK.

    Wow, Africa is so beautiful!
I have a question a bit off topic:
Would you ever be willing to share your knowledge of herbs/tinctures/salves etc? I am wanting to get into herbalism for my family but I am unsure where to start or even how to use them. There is a lot of wonderful information out there, but that is also the problem because there is so much information. I wasn’t sure if you would be able to do some sort of series on it.
    God bless!
