This was the song that made it all click for me. I made the mistake of just putting Turn Off the Lights on in the background when I first checked out Julien and it was kinda like "yeah, I get why people like her, but it's just not for me." I listened to this and it basically screamed into my face that I ACTUALLY needed to listen to Julien, like take in the words that came out of her mouth. I really did need it, and after revisiting the whole discography I can only offer my thanks to her for helping me get through something I didn't want to face. Julien said things that I just didn't want to hear but NEEDED to hear.

Absolutely killer drums on this performance by Matthew Gene Gilliam. That "i-and-a" into the "false" ending is spot on. Parts by Julien Baker, who I believed played the drums on the album version.
I’m pretty sure she played most of, if not all of the instruments for the whole album
